@mritter0
Any system-friendly program that lets you select screen name or screenmode can be set to open on display/screen of your choice. The names of the modes are prefaced by "Board 0" or "Board 1" if you have two cards.
Even some old software that is not RTG aware can be forced to open where you want using a mode promotion utility.

You can use Amiga-N and Amiga-M keyboard shortcuts to move from screen to screen as always, or the depth gadgets at top right of screens.
Or find a utility that allows mouse to move directly from edge of one display to the other. I was trying out one before from Severin. Sev, are you listening? Is that something you released?

I am not speaking about the X5000 at all because I don't have one and don't know what the limitations and capabilities are.
But to further clarify how multiple monitors work in the Amiga world.... it's not like it is with Windows/Mac/Linux on other systems.
One of my X1000 systems has two graphics cards to support two monitors simultaneously. An Amiga screen can be on each -- as in Workbench on one display and, say, a DOpus or other application screen on the other display. I can switch the mouse pointer between the displays and of course see them both at the same time. But I cannot have one double-wide screen stretch across two displays. I can do screendragging on each monitor if that display has multiple screens assigned to it.
It's good and it's bad. For sure, it's different.
And the system does NOT support dual displays using only one card.

You mean rendering bug where window does not redraw without a lot of encouragement? I've just silently cursed it all this time. LOL

MPlayer is free. Not even sure why it's listed on the store as something to be sold. That said, many have contributed to bounties to spar porting and development.
I'd suggest asking LiveForIt for advice on best, fastest version to use with RadeonHD compositing. I am not 100 percent sure the one on OS4Depot is the fastest. I think I am using an earlier version of his work than what is there, for better results on my X1000. Sorry I am away from my Amigas until tomorrow so cannot check the version I am using until then.
Also, benefiting from the RadeonHD-supported version of Ward3D is Blender, which is loads faster with that support.
And there are games, but I'm not a gamer so will let others chime in.

@Marko
One thing I have learned with Amigas since the downfall of Commodore is that it tends to become necessary to run with the same hardware for years or decades longer than planned. I enjoy using my X1000 tremendously and see it as a very special machine. I figured owning two specimens would increase my chances of doing so for as long as I want to. In other words, redundancy -- and knowing I could get an extra Nemo motherboard easily if not cheaply in 2015. In 2016, that's no longer possible.

This has become a nice holiday tradition! Besides showing the talent of an artist and programmer (and musician!), it shows what can be done with one of the best, most capable applications on our platform. Sketchblock gets better and better with every release.

I know nothing of endianessesses. Heh. But I do believe there is something wrong with JavaScript in Odyssey under AmigaOS(4.1). I think that is where the terrible memory leak is, so I'd support any effort that gets us to a fix for this.
At the suggestion of another user, I have disabled JavaScript by default in Odyssey and now enable it from menu selection only when I visit a website that requires it. Afterward I disable it. This way, I can leave Odyssey open for hours and hours and hours without my X1000s locking up. Before, if I let Odyssey run too long, eventually I would have a locked up machine.
Anyway, I'd support anything that gets us to an update/fix quicker. We seem to be at a standstill until now, for whatever reason.

@AmigOS
Hey there... Those parameters are Tool Types stored in the icon. What you do is right click on the monitor icon in SYS:Devs and choose Information. Then click on the Icon tab and you can edit and save the parameters there. Happy hunting!

New AmigaOS4 video editing tool release

My favorite AmigaOS4 video editing tool gets new features and bugfixes with version 2.0. I've made a couple of YouTube videos with earlier versions and plan to get busy making more with this new release. VideoClipper gives powerful control of ffmpeg (now instead of mencoder) to cut and join video clips and arrange their order, now with ability to do fades and other effects. You can advance forward by frame now (not as precise for going backwards, alas) so more accuracy for tighter edits. The program controls MPlayer via Arexx, and with advances in our video playback capability creating high-def videos are now easier to manage with our X1000. The VideoClipper interface now adds thumbnail images for in and out point of edits. Users can achieve some more sophisticated edits with the NLE within Blender, but VideoClipper is less taxing in some ways on our systems and provides quick-to-accomplish cuts-only editing that can be output to a variety of formats.

The new SMTube interface looks and acts like a browser so the single click to launch video seems OK to me. But I can deal with bit either way.
