AmiDock PNG icons have no own alpha anymore, shows background that did not show in 4.0 (or is it something I missed to configure?)...

@Rigo

Looking good! I hope you can release a beta soon! Still hoping to get auto complete and debugger integration (as I have not yet learned GDB) in the future.

Keep up this excellent work!!!

@joerg

About the splasher:

I could do it but I think it would be nice to have the Arexx port in OWB again to have something to check that OWB is open and running.
Or is there some other good way to check if an application is up and running?

Does OWB use a cache or does it always download everything every time a page is loaded?

@abalaban

Yes, even GoldED has some sort of auto completion but it only takes the first 'hit' and prints it out, no selection at all if the starting characters could be multiple values.

Maybe Cubic have improved the handling?

@Rigo

Are you planning any kind of system for "auto complete" when writing code (variables, functions, struct-members, object-members and so on)? (Crossing fingers as this is what I really miss when developing on the Amiga...)

Looks really good!

Is the debugger controlable from the editor (breakpoints and stepping and so on)?

Open parent window when closing child window?

One of the new features was enhanced handling of the 'close parent window when drawer is clicked'. And that is great, but what about to open it again when the new window is closed, is there any such functionality in OS4.0 or OS4.1 simulating a 'Back'-button?

Re: OWB (1.21/1.2) bugs and feature requests

@joerg

For me, from the time I double-click the icon it is at least 5-6 seconds of nothing until the GUI appears.
(Well, it prints 'trying to start program "OWB"' at the top and the CPU meter goes 100%.)

Maybe it's just the big exe that are loaded in that time...
Still would be nice to have something that shows that it is trying to start directly after double-clicking... Maybe I'm not used to have such a big (and good!) program loaded on the Amiga! :)

Feature request of some kind...

A popup/requester showing until the main GUI is opened at startup so one knows that it is starting... Maybe with version information?

Re: Automatic Aminet uploads

@Raziel

The reason is on the front page or at least what needs to be done to get it back:

"Aminet cross uploading will not enabled until the following three things happen:
1. Aminet makes a public apology to the community for their behavior, both for recent and past actions.

And, when cross uploading files from OS4Depot that was not originally approved for uploading to aminet, promise to:
2. always verify with the original uploader that cross uploading is okey.
3. always state in the readme file that the file was uploaded by aminet personnel and not by the original uploader.
"

@Snuffy

Well, what I could read Hyperion did everything they could to get the broken board to fixed.
I was a bit surprised that they did put that kind of commitment in fixing one borken board...

@TMTisFree

Maybe it's the network connection taking time? A run >NIIL: in the startup-sequence will do the trick then (as described in many forums).

@MamePPCA1

If you have a Radeon9200 card the W3D plugin may be slower than the software renderer... The 9200 driver seems to be slower than the 7000 one, at least for FPSE.

Amidogs own speed tests with a 9250 and a 7000 can be found here (swedish posts but the results are pretty easy to spot):
