I use a HP all-in-one deskjet ntework printer. You can print through the network, through e-mail and... you can scan using OWB and the web-server embedded into the printer

Solved : I have the latest Wget in C: , but it has the "executable" bit unchecked.
Select the icon (show all files) and check the "executable" bit

You have to transform your images to monochrome IFF.
I don't know why, but the output from BME (the graphics editor of Pagestream) is not recognized, but if you re-save it through PPaint, it works!!

I used to have a good OCR that came with a Migraph handy scanner. It worked quite well using a "learn" feature. But I think that the bundled version only worked together with the handy scanner...
If I find it on an old CD backup, I can try to see if one can make it work...

Now, my version was limited (only works together with the scanner), but here you will find the complete version :

...but the latest HP printers have an e-mail address. You send there your graphic image or your PDF and lo! they get printed. Same with the scanner : scanning goes like photocopying, then it sends the file to you as an mail attachment. Simply, you don't need drivers (if you print from pdf, text, jpeg, tiff, html, etc...). The only hassle: you have to send an e-mail attachement to your printer

new printers all-in-one now have often the option to scan directly to your e-mail address.
I just ordered a new HP printer who prints directly from e-mail. I hope to be able to print my pdf's directly from my Amiga through this service!

Yes, it did it. Reformatted SYS under SFS and TW starts at a decent speed. Now for me the main problems are :

1) it's almost impossible to configure (the prefs windows are unusable
2) It eats lots of processor time, and by the warm season we are experiencing right now, the CPU temperature rockets too high!
