I finally got Samba up and running last night, I can ping my 2 x PC, is there anyway to access the drives some NTFS and others FAT32 or does Samba still need to "mount" the drives.

Good post, put's things into a bit more perspective especially for us "want to haves". I found the SDL compiled version very usable on my a1 g4 933, it would be even better with a joystick.

Actually it would be nice to here about some of the other emulators as well like FPSE. WarpSnes recently added amigainput capability and that improves the experience ten fold. Having Mame with amigainput would be fantastic.

Check how much the shipping actually is. I recently bought YDL4 to try and install on my A1 (through mechanic) and the UPS shipping price was outrageous, $90US to Australia and then it took weeks!

Just got off the phone to my brother. He has just installed Amikit after I showed it to him on Saturday. He loves it, he started me on Amiga and I have restarted him back to Amiga, with your help.

Given some games were a little tricky to install on the A1 (Quake 2 and Exodus), could we have a software install section (hints) to cover some of these trickier installs. For instance installing Exodus required aspecific patch but most users were trying another.

Also, I was reading another thread regarding playing Real Audio files on the classic, I didn't know that could be done so a section detailing just what the A1 (or new boards) can play and what software is required would be most helpful.
