Yeah I got a multicard reader in my X5000 mounted with a 5,25" to 3,5" adapter, connected to internal usb header.
Don't know what brand it is, some noname reader, but it works without problem.

Edit: DevInfosNG list the reader as - "Alcor Micro Corp. Flash Card Reader/Writer"

"Just you need to be sure you pack it all by normal archiver, which will not broke for you softlinks and stuff."

You got an example of an archiver, I got no clue when it comes to Windows applications?
Would be good to back it up while it's fresh.

Those voltage measures are from the adapter and not from the PSU right?
If not check the adapter for continuity.

Does it still boot up with the old/original PSU?

Edit:Read your post on Amiga.org and with "Outlawal2"s answear I can can only suggest that the adapter is faulty(wrong wiring).

I guess that Amigakit(nothing against them, love their continous Amiga support) is going to have to get their repairshop busy for selling adapters that kill their customers jewels.

Re: (Working) KVM Switch anyone?

@Raziel
Test Rene W Olsens rmouse and rkeyboard usb drivers!
I'm using an CDTV keyboard via Keyrah on my X5000 with Rene's drivers since the original Hyperion drivers where very crash prone with Keyrah.

It may also be that the X5000 (you got a X5000 right?) usb ports doesn't deliver enough current, I haven't mesured the ports.

Be aware though that you loose Amiga Input joystick support with Rene's drivers, there maybe a workaround.

If you want reverse mouse scrollwheel settings with Rene's drivers I can dig it up, don't remember how I did it at the moment.
