Re: Qt4.7minimal.lha

I've downloaded and installed the latest Qt from OS4 Depot, and every program seems to be using Greek letters to spell English words in the titlebar and menu.

Has anyone else seen this happen?

@Hans

Are you aware of any passively cooled graphics cards that can take advantage of the new 3D drivers (Southern Island or Oland)?

@alfkil

Seems to work quite well. Thanks for the update!

I did notice one thing, though:

If the context menus are displayed with a right-click, and if the user left-clicks outside of the program window, then those context menus become semi-locked.

(I'm using the newly released Qt together with JuffEd, and have my Qt Prefs set to use Native Menus.)

@broadblues

I know this is off-topic, but I really like that "Name to Clip" ContextMenu entry.

Is there a quick and easy way of going the other direction---using a hotkey or menu option to rename a file with the clipboard text?

Just tried the new version, but no change ("S:AutoRun-Default" still is not executed).

@salass00

Thanks for the new version.
The only problem I'm having is that AutoRun no longer seems to detect when a new XAD is mounted.

The driver works on 16 or 32 bit screens, even the driver supports only 16 bit displays. But the performance on 16 bit screens is better because the data must be converted.

It's amazing how good the performance is on a 16 bit screen!

Will Amicygnix be given full 32 bit support in the future? (I really prefer running a 32 bit screen.)

Is there a way that I can specify the starting size of the application (AbiWord) inside the Amicygnix window?
Also is there an easy way to have the application started maximized?

Thanks!

I'm using the lpr.device with the latest update, together with the PostScript printer driver, and the following settings in the lpr.device file (in ENV): HOST 192.168.1.136 RAW

This new audio driver is great!
(I'm especially happy with the Mixer support.)

It would be great if this driver could be made to work with the Mixer.
(I miss not being able to control the volume from my keyboard.)

Re: using .flv files with def_icons

@Swoop

1) Grab "runicon" from OS4 Depot (http://www.os4depot.net/index.php?fun ... ity/workbench/runicon.lha), and copy it to C:
2) Set your .flv def_icon to have have "runicon" as the "Default tool"
3) In the .flv def_icon "Tool types" try copying the following line:
RUN=Work:MPlayer/MPlayer/mplayer "%s" -vo cgx_wpa

(Make sure to adjust the path and arguments to fit your MPlayer installation and preferences.)

I thought it might be helpful to have a forum topic focusing on tips to make the Timberwolf beta more useable. So here's my first tip:

If you can't get your Bookmarks to work, install the Add-On called "Super Start 3.6.3" and you can have your main sites readily available when you open a new tab. This add-on is nice and customizable. You can also set it to be your default home.

@thellier

Thanks for your response! The screen resolution was the problem; I was trying to use it with WIDTH=1680 & HEIGHT=1050. The pictures display well using WIDTH=1024, HEIGHT=768.

Are there any plans to increase the maximum screen size in Wazp3D (particularly the WIDTH)?
