Hello, Added to the Kas1e, we need also: - Updated GFX drivers, for allowing to use again Amigygnix in P96 windowed mode. (Maybe by chance little speed improvements or bug fix). - CrossDOSfilesystem updated and/or USB fixed to allow users to use without data loss with FAT medias. - Possibility to format fine FAT95 on Amiga-NG computers. All kind of size and all numbers of partitions (for Big HD for example). Amiga-users are stressed and wait impatiently after the next update. Because some of the compoments need urgent updates for resolving some problems encountered like FAT problems, slow Warp3D, Elf.kmod for debugging, New MUI for MUI-OWB,..... The best for me is to release a quick fix. IMHO for me, If a quickfix could be released in the futur, I could wait silently after the newshell or USB2 for the update3 without stress This is of course my point of view bye.

Quote: At least that is what every non OS4 dev keep telling me...and to be perfectly honest, NONE...not a single time was a crash fixed due to the information grim reaper spitted out. It nmay be perfectly good for writing a program on OS4 for OS4, but when it comes to ported parts or programs it gets to it's limit.
I'm 100% agree with you...

Hello,
Maybe an assign add missing for the fonts.
- try to copy the fonts on your SYS:fonts directory (for testing) ?
- there are no assign needed with amigawriter ?
- amigawriter has been installed with an install or by hand (without install) ?

Hello, I have added some resolutions on the radeon tooltype (with an increased resolution order). Of course, the next reboot, I have changed the WB screen resolution and some MUI tools for using the original screen resolution and all should be fine excepted of OWB. OWB previously open itself on his own window. This time, OWB window is too small, even with tooltype 1024x768. I haven't found untill now how is managed the screen resolution size of OWB on the system. I even install a new one on RAM and launch the new one from the ram and also the same small OWB screensize. Crazy ! Please help me

@samo79 Quote: Last news I have, his Amiga computer is broken (please confirm, read on a post somewhere). I'm interested to know because crisot could repair A1 module. Samo79 and all: why not let Joerg make what he want (maybe developping to the AOS4 OS itself actually or just other things). - Why not use MorphOS version and use the 1000 MUI sourcedode lines about the GUI for a fall back to MUI 3.8 and compile the result ? (The MorpHOS source is available and free and surely Fab1 will help). For sure, a talented C++ developper is required for this work.... NOTE: C++

Developper documentation: official status ?

Hello,
Now that Hyperion own amiga and distribute a SDK with all needed to make happy programmers, I would like to know the status about the documentaion by itself, by using some examples:
First example:
Amidark engine, Amiblitz3, Hollywood,... (langague who manage to simplify programming by themselves) can take, for example, tags or flags from some instruction, from the SDK, and add them on their own documentation ?
Second example:
A courageous guy with free time transform SDK to html and add the SDK includes and autodocs on a good and easy to use internet site ? On Hyperion site by itself maybe ?
Additionnal examples:
-What are the status of the amiga books actually (RKRM, Amiga inside and out,...) ?
-The content of the books could be used to make PDF or internet page with their contents for freely helping the programmers to have a modern method to know the amiga systems ?
-Original publishers of the book maybe now dead and some of them maybe become now free to use?
-For RKRM, the owner is Commodore and now Hyperion or ?
bye.

hello,
sii3114ide_xfer=GGGG boot1=s4sii boot2= boot3= boota_timeout=3
I haven't sii3114ide_conf=1002 ,on my SAM var log ?
For me, only boot1 should be remplaced by the hd or the dvd because we replace HD boot by DVD boot on the Uboot.

@tommo1975
Maybe you not have the DVD SATA ribbon plugged on the good SATA controleur.
Only SATA 1 and 4 allow to boot from the U-boot.
open a shell and type NVgetvar for checking your Uboot setting
Inside you should found: bootdevice=0:4
and to know the number of the SATA connectors on the motherboard, a solution is to check your Acube SAM manual (paper or PDF).

@all
I know I have allready asked that but what are the maximal size of partition recomanded with:
-SFS -SFS2 -JFS
Same question when reorganize or reparing with the AOS4 tool, all kind work with the repair/optimize tool ?.
This thread is important because I'm sure pratically all users use SFS or FFS and not look at SFS2 or JFS just because not lots of feedback from users found...
Here 6 partition with SFS used and never try to use more than 60go for a partition..
