Hey Walkero,
Can you take a look at a local Plex server? Right now we don't get the login page at all. We've talked about supporting it with other tools but if we can get it in browser, which will be great.

Pidgin was working with Discord last year but recently it would join the channels but not show and posts. I use AmIRC on my Amiga for IRC and Discord webapp for that.
Anyone have better luck with Pidgin?

I just noticed something on my x5K with Pixy. When I open and close the latest Odyssey then launch Pixy, Pixy does not crash.
Can anyone confirm this on an X5K?

Got it working! I need to learn to read the words more... I had been selecting into the foundation directory at first, then I figured out you set up the installer to be top level.
I have to say, running the game with the music is really nice nad I look forward to playing it more :)
Thanks for this! Bill "tekmage" Borsari

@kas1e
Love the work on Foundation. I was playing it via E-UAE few years ago. Once your done and post your work I'll pick it up again but natively :)
As for Payback, I've installed the latest version from Aminet and I get the audio.device error when I run either the 68K or WOS version:
14.Work:Games/3D-Games/Payback> stack 10000 14.Work:Games/3D-Games/Payback> Payback.exe InitSound: Could not open audio.device! ***Command 'Payback.exe' returned with unfreed signals 04000000! 14.Work:Games/3D-Games/Payback> Paybackwos.exe InitSound: Could not open audio.device! ***Command 'Paybackwos.exe' returned with unfreed signals 04000000!
Any other trick I need to use to get Payback running?
Thanks! Bill "tekmage" Borsari

@Raziel
I am not 100% sure but having looked at this a bit I think the Hollywood directory under storage is dynamically created during the runtime of the Hollywood App. Here are my current sys:storage dir:
11.System:Storage/Hollywood> dir hollywood.FYQCZV (dir) hollywood.HHUREE (dir) hollywood.NRNZYW (dir) hollywood.NYUQUX (dir) hollywood.RAWCOF (dir) hollywood.ROHQXX (dir) hollywood.UWOBVX (dir)

Hi All,
I've been looking in to this for a while now. What I've found is a problem between HollyWood, MUI, and codesets library. There are two apps which reliably trigger this problem, SQLman and Pixy. Run either of those apps on a X5000 running OS 4 and you'll see a similar stack trace:
Stack trace: native kernel module newlib.library.kmod+0x00034bd0 LIBS:codesets.library:LIB_CodesetsConvertStrA()+0x178 (section 1 @ 0x85FC) module SYS:Storage/Hollywood/hollywood.IAVPXD/MUIRoyale.hwp at 0x7DC9CF74 (section 0 @ 0x9F50) module SYS:Storage/Hollywood/hollywood.IAVPXD/MUIRoyale.hwp at 0x7DCB2280 (section 0 @ 0x1F25C)
At AmiWest and on IRC I've been asking people to test Pixy and the results are very consistent.
Personally I have tried different versions of OS 4 kernels and MUI builds with no change in results. Hope we can get this fixed, I'd like to use both those apps on my X5000.

I agree! It is a fantastic Hollywood app. Calling it a pixel editor does a dis-service to the breath of the program. Not only does have it have great pixel tools it also has a full animation suite. You can load up a gif anim, change it, and save it back out.
Just a great app!

@MickJT Nice tip! I used Zaphod to find and change RadeonHD to RadeonRX in MickJT's mplayer version. When I tested a sample AVI file with the RadeonHD version, CPU usage was ~15%, with the RadeonRX version it was ~8%. So something changed! :) I then tested with Emotion 1.9 and the CPU use was in line with the RX hacked Mplayer. New question, is this "hack" possible with ffplay? Thanks! +1
Playing youtube videos with Emotion uses about 3% CPU whereas FFplay streaming a live video uses 80%!
I'm ready to donate if someone takes this on.

@alfkil Looks like AmigaBounty has been shutdown. It was at https://amigabounty.net/. Many content creators are now on Patreon. That might be a good direction to get you some extra money and motivation. I'd be good for $5 a month to support your work. Cheers, Bill "tekmage" Borsari
