@murasame
My guess is it'll be faster than motherboard memory, but significantly slower than the ram on a cyberstorm.
It may be slightly faster than the DKB128, but the bottleneck is the Zorro bus, not the RAM.

@ChrisH Quote: I even saw this bug found during a video presentation of OS4.1 Update 1, and the beta tester said he would make a note of it & report it.... Looks like he never did
They did. Its in the database.

@Helgis
I think you should read Spot's porting guide. If you can't follow it, then maybe porting games is not for you.

@Mrodfr
If anything you should use UnArc, especially if extracting to a JXFS partition, since with default settings lha doesn't extract the file protection bits.
Additional header sounds like your file was corrupt.

@clusteruk I'm guessing AROS on SAM posts would be acceptable.
Of course, you're welcome to discuss anything you want in the free for all forum.

@phx
I don't think the classic release of OS4 has support for shared objects, and even if it did, it would probably be broken. The shared object stuff has seen many, many updates since then.

Doesn't matter. If it turns out not to be an SDL problem, the issue will be closed.
We need ALL issues that relate to SDL to be at least reported properly. Really.

Current SVN code should fix the DSIs on exit.

@kas1e
Yeah, you've almost certainly broken non-GL apps in some circumstances. I'm 99.9999% sure that the bug is not that actual piece of code, and that code simply shouldn't be called in the OpenGL case. I expect it'll be very easy for me to fix as soon as i find 5 minutes in front of the A1 to look at it.

@kas1e Don't worry. Either Andrea or myself will get to it. I told you the SVN code was a work in progress.

@kas1e Quote: kas1e wrote: PS. Btw, how can i strip lbSDL.so ? If i just do: strip libSDL-1.2.so, then it give me DSIs and crashes on start.
You can't. Forget I mentioned it. Quote: compiled without usage of .SO, and because of it we can only wait when somebody will recompile all those games with new features..
Yeah. I hope to put up a new build of SDL_Image soon as a shared object. I think SDL_Mixer is already available. Once those three are ready, i'm sure Spot can help out with a few ports

@kas1e If you update to the latest SVN revision, the DSI in giddy goes away. Edit: And Giddy v1.4 has been out for ages..

I have ALL the same errors as you. Andrea compiled the r11 build with a cross compiler, I just made the release archives out of it.
I'm not putting a new build up yet, since people would try and use it and its not ready.

I don't know. I have all the same problems you listed. I kludged the "SDL_malloc" error by reverting SDL_config.h to the SVN version after configuring.
