@328gts

BreakHack is a good suggestion. Maybe you would like to set up this competition like you did last time?

@geennaam

Hehe, you are probably right. I think it was Trixie who wrote something like "being an Amigan requires a black belt in waiting". Unfortunately, I seem to only have a blue belt.

It is now March. Anyone received anything? Or perhaps information on when it will arrive?

There is no date on amigakit.fr of when the boards will become available. On February 11th, AmigaKit estimated they would publish a date for non-early adopters on amigakit.fr in a week or so.

It is openmohaa. There has been a lot of progress on their side recently. This game... I used to play all the time: Capture The Flag online.

Need to iron out a few things with the port. But, _should_ be available soon.

Nice! Thanks for porting it! I really look forward to playing this one again. As far as I can remember, it had a very good single-player campaign. With multiplayer supported, we can actually have some AmigaOS 4 players uniting forces or fighting each other in the game.

Hahaha wow… the effort you made for these absolute bullshit games 15 years later! I really enjoyed reading them, so keep em coming! :) I don’t remember a single one of the games though :D Feel very free to package the ones you want in separate archives and upload. No need to credit me or anything. :) Have ”fun”!

Happy to read that you enjoyed the adventures!

Excellent! Thanks a lot! I look forward to repackaging some of the good ones from your collections.

@Spot: If you are reading this, maybe you could upload PC Maziacs separately, so that it is easier for people to find it?

Versus #10 – The Amiga Demoscene Chart – Voting Has Started!
Quite a regular
Quite a regular

Hi everyone,

Versus is a demoscene chart and disk magazine created by two demo groups, Nukleus and Void, for Amiga OCS/ECS and AmigaOS 4. Nine issues have been released so far. The last one, Versus #9, came out in 2019.

Versus #10 is on the way, and voting has officially opened!

Cast your vote for your favorite demos, intros, programmers, musicians, and so forth! 🙂 The more votes collected, the more accurate the charts will be. Thank you in advance for your support!

You can find the Online votesheet here:

https://www.nukleus.nu/VersusVote.php

It is worth mentioning that you are not required to fill out all the fields.

We are very grateful for every vote we receive, and we really hope you’ll spend a few minutes filling out the votesheet as soon as possible. 🙂

Moving Gaming on AmigaOS 4 to Old School Game Blog
Quite a regular
Quite a regular

Hi everyone,

Today I've closed my blog Gaming on AmigaOS 4. All the content has been transferred to Old School Game Blog.

There is a section on Old School Game Blog for the AmigaOS 4 Monthly Roundup. The roundup will continue as normal.

It is easier for me to do all my blogging in one place. Less to maintain, less costly. Since I started with Old School Game Blog over 10 years ago, this is the one I chose to stick with.

Anyway, there will be just as much AmigaOS 4 content over there as on the old one.

Please update your bookmark (if you have one) to Old School Game Blog.

Thanks in advance!

€1,600? Seeing how AmigaKit and A-EON seem to be doing their best to let their so called "Early Adopters" be the last ones to know what the rest of the world already seem to know - do you have a credible source for this, or is it just pure speculation on your part?

Yes, you can find the price on the top of the Facebook-page of AAA Technology:

https://www.facebook.com/aaatechnologysarl/

There it says €1599 if you pre-order. The price is without shipping. It is for a full system though. If you buy only the motherboard, it is €1199.

You can also find this information at amiga-news.de:

https://www.amiga-news.de/en/news/AN-2023-10-00031-EN.html

The user Bigmac posted a mail from AAA Technology here on Amigans.net informing that the price for early adopters is €1089 for the motherboard:

Quote:
It concerns early adopters!
