@AmigaOldskooler

Nice!

Got a really good summary for one read, thanks! Will also check previous releases too.

Regarding IBrowse, do you know (or anybody else) how can I check my keyfile, for which release is it valid? I got it more than a decade ago, so can't recall which version was valid then and till which can I use, or do I need to buy the latest?

Great news, thanks. Really hope that the games can be purchased, I'd buy it as did recently in case of Freespace.

I really hope you will not cease developing for NG Amigas. What I can do is not downloading any of commercially released stuff from there but getting it from legal sources. Since I've left my teenages decades ago I can mange to get income for Amiga stuff to pay for, no exception, if I think something catches me, the author must have to get my support.

@LyleHaze

If I understood well the pinout of the internal USB, the 2x4 pins were set in opposite order, so it means the connector of the front panel can be attached in any direction, (after I modded to the same order of course) it won't kill any USB devices, so seems to be quite helpful.

Good to know, but then it is strange why not the same method became common in every mobos. Using idiot proof solutions helps in any case...

Nothing more to do then for me but changing the wires on one side in the connector and pray, when I boot up the machine and plug a stick to the front port... :D

@drHirudo
Maybe you are lucky as I was, when mine was hit by a lightning through the ethernet port the network chip burnt out, but after removing the board itself works as new. Thinking on to reseat a new IC so then my PCI slot will be available for something else.

@sailor
How much ram do you have on your mA1?
Tower57 requires at least 512 MB, but the original version was asking for 1024...

I used only a network card in my mA1's PCI slot. I had to , as about a decade ago the onboard network chip was died due to a lightning came in through my modem. The chip was burnt out...

Wonder if a PCI SATA card can be used? I'd like to use an SSD with that config, so either an IDE2SSD adaptor could be good, but also a real SSD card for both the DVD and SSD...

@lazi

I'm pretty sure about the availability of this game continously from the past when it become available.

Many downloads have been done on that archive on OS4depot.net, so.

If something once have been released, then it will be spreaded over the world, 'till when Earth stops spinning.
I bet many Amigans still have floppy disks infected with a "living" Lamer Exterminator virus...

Funny but when it was released, I did not get a copy from OS4depot, but now I would like to, from anywhere :)
