I think the key thing is the communications between Amiga Inc and the Freidens which indicate Amiga Inc would like them to carry on developement of OS4 but for Amiga Inc instead of Hyperion.

We have to think about why Amiga Inc is spending money on lawyers, if they were not interested in using OS4 for anything then why bother trying to wreastle it away from Hyperion?

While I wish the OS4 issue would be settled ammicably I do believe Amiga Incs intentions are good, my only worry is that I don't think the management at Amiga Inc are competant so on that basis I would worry about the future should Amiga Inc win.

I would suggest giving ACK a few more days before making accusations because things do get delayed in the postal system. When your system arrives in the UK it may be handled by the Royal mail, in which case you need to note the strike action which is causing delays in deliveries.

I would have thought though that because of the amount of money involved in the Kent deal that due diligence would have been carried out and therefore Amiga Incs past troubles would have come to light.

This comes as no surprise to me really. I did kind of hope the deal would go through but as soon as I saw that Amiga Inc were haggling over who will have control of other sponsors I thought they were trying to find a face saving way out.

I've got an old Creative muvo 64mb MP3 player, does anyone know if there is a maximum length of track it will play? I have two 30ish minute CD tracks that I have put on it but it refuses to play them, infact the MP3 player refuses to power up but when I put a short track on it then everything is fine.

Works ok for me now.

If you want to sell your A1 and buy a Mac then thats fine. I haven't used an Amiga for 10 years (I use a PC.....ducks) but I still consider myself "part of the community" because I want to see the platform back again and will consider buying any new Amiga if/when they become available.

The picure of the space ship looks like it is jumping to light speed, or put another way, hyper space. This leads me to think its something to do with hyperion.

The racing car could mean a competition. There is a competition of sorts between Amiga inc and hyperion over OS4.

Using my warped sense of logic, I think Mikey has heard about a possible setlement.

The BBC said a while ago that other platforms would be supported. In actual fact I saw recently a list of programs on the BBC website for other platforms which include Amiga.
