Wasn't there like a memory deallocation missing? Of the JIT cache?

Sometimes this happens wrt. USB

For years I've used a USB mouse and a USB keyboard with the XE. It's unmodified.

Sometimes they stop working. In this case at least, the keyboard was abandoned. Is the keyboard to blame or what's going on?

Does it run (current) Freedoom now? Prboom 2.5.1 seems to, but then fails with save games.

Does YT.rexx with ffplay still work for live streams? The current script does get the correct link for most Youtube released videos, or past live streams.

Yes it still did the same with the new 8.2.1583.

I always used the Amiga name for the ISO file. And it's not visible to the emulated Dosbox filesystem (letter drives). No issues there.

I keep forgetting the "mark and grab" functionality locks up the system as soon as you poke the wrong thing... maybe get rid of it? Also, I'm posting this so I might remember next time I have a fine idea.

Maybe custom screen is key.

@white I think it's a combination of various licenses, it's definitely not public domain. The WebKit browser engine is a combination of LGPL and BSD...

Btw. interesting that while an actual Firefox (that I use) tests better overall, Odyssey wins in some areas, like video, and both browsers have sections with zero points.

@tekmage Fair enough. OS4Depot even has another "raw" datatype.

Hey, there is source code in there (file name extension c): cr2_dt
Though I'm not sure what "License: Other" stands for, there.

Re: the image formats

How would datatypes.library recognize a file to be fed to the datatype?

I'm reminded of something out of a popular science fiction film:

IIRC that is the gettext way. Any developer is free to use it if they prefer.

One caveat still: which order does OS 4.1 locale.library look for catalogs, is it just PROGDIR:Catalogs first, and if so and there is a duplicate what happens? Because the old convention was to use native language names instead of english language names. Yet there are version numbers as well.

@nubechecorre They are called patches. I think it's because, or makes sense since, with MIDI you might be using several of them simultaneously.
