@Amigamancer the guy in charge of the SW stuff is timothy. Email him the details and what the problem is (registration) and he will respond. Timothy De Groote < TimDG@hyperion-entertainment.biz> As far as i know he is away for the moment and has been for a few weeks so that might be the reason for your troubles. PM Rogue if you don't hear anything asap and i am sure he would fill you in.

@Antique
there is superstardust HD listed on ps3, see Playstation network (which also is PS3 list although downloads only (from online shop called Playstation network shop).
also, as a key note, i bought the PS3 solely for SSD HD, the day SSDHD was released i went and bought a ps3, everything since then is just a bonus for me imo and both me and my gf play SSD HD for atleast 2 hours a week , still now.. (back when it was new we played only ssd hd for 2 months before i bought anything else for the ps3).

As some of you might know, i have always loved games and i tend to buy more games than my girlfriend approves of :p comments and feedback about the site would be very welcome, if someone wants to help out with dooing the site "better" then let me know. as a footnote, the site has over 2000 games listed, still loads more to do and most of all do proper pictures. http://toaks.kicks-ass.netcheers

@troels sent another donation so now its way over 400. its good to see proof of life on such projects and yes i am sorta involved too (since day 1) but i have been too busy to follow it, i will look into it eventually though spotty: great job on getting the zelda stuff, best of luck on porting that one!.

I myself only ever used configure once , rest i have done was to write my own makefiles or for smaller projects i just done everything step by step, as Rogue said, its all in the .am files or in some pre mf one, sadly sometimes theyre relying on additional stuff.
that said, after hnl and co fixed up our shell (abc) then it became easier to use configure automatically but i somewhat had grown to use everything in my own way so instead of wasting time in trying to understand confuigure files i just did it the way i had to do with all my sdl recompiles/ports.
As to porting racer , i have faith in proost for the port and since most developers theese days are occupied with their usual tasks, well i welcome any new ones and imo everyone here should.
But what i don't have faith in is the current AmigaOS4 hardware, it won't perform good enough compared to the other allready running ports of the game, or so i like to belive now anyway.

@Severin
3rd of October 1985 (my birthday infact) and a few months later (xmas 85) my dad brought home a 256 kb memory expansion.
Man that was annoying times but hey i loved the a500 to bits which we got about 2 years later.
Oldest game i have boxed still is Mindwalker which came with the a1000.
Sold the a1k in late 80's to buy an a500+ /cdtv but thank god we waited with spending the money so we went for an a1200 eventually.
ps:i used c64 active till about 89 (more than the Amiga) but i kept using it a few hours a week until 1995.

@Helge
and what will a drystone mean in theese things really?
if i had a gazillion drystones or mhz it doesnt mean i could play in uae at super good speed, it depends more on the actual emulator and how its setup and if it has JIT or Not, the point of a JIT is to do the needed job when its time for it so without JIT it will sometimes use excessive cpu usage for even the most common functions and therefor drag down the performance.
anyway the answer to your question, i have no idea and couldnt care less really but i'll check it and report back if no one else does.

@xeron Quote: xeron wrote: @BooBoo
It might work on classic. It won't work on anything without "the chipset", since the games and demos that it patches pretty much all use the chipset directly.
Do like i do, i have my whd stuff visible in OS4 but with a special script, so i just click the icons as normal but it starts E-UAE in the backgroundand when the game starts its running in window mode on OS4 workbench...sure its cheating but its a helluva lot better than using os3.x in e-uae.

COlonization used to work when we had nallepuh and a few other hacks but since thoose has been removed ..well it wont work :I
it needs ciaa.reg's so if you want u should bugger xeron to do a patch/hack , it will most likely do the job.

@BrandonLee i have yet to try Super Ghosts'n goblins myself, i bought the capcom collection remixed for PSP and its on there aswell as GNG + ghouls and ghosts, looking forward to play em btw Ultimate Ghosts'n goblins rules (PSP only), a brand new game which more or less feels liks the old gng but with much nicer gfx(2d mixed with some 3d landscape) and some wicked levels, you might want to check that out one day. Also Maximo 1 + 2 (PS2) is ghosts n goblins in 3d more or less, but with lots of new stuff, and still just as annoyingly hard as the orginal.
