Or you could just ask Francois Lionet I don’t see why he’ll refuse to provide you the infos.

VIM was originally released for the Amiga so it is good that it is still available for her.

Re: Is Forbid() needed for SetMethod()?

Nothing is written in the AmigaOS 4.x autodocs about forbid/permit like it was in CBM ones for SetMethod()
NOTE
THIS FUNCTION IS DANGEROUS. Don't use it. It's main purpose
is to provide ways for debuggers to hook into interfaces.

@BSzili
Yep autodocs says that forbid/permit is for pre36 lib, so logically it doesn't need forbid/permit.
I wonder why then Mike Sinz do it anyway.

NOTE
SetFunction cannot be used on non-standard libraries like pre-V36
dos.library. Here you must manually Forbid(), preserve all 6
original bytes, set the new vector, SumLibrary(), then Permit().

Since SetMethod() replace SetFunction() I would assume that Forbid() and Permit() are required like Michael Sinz do it in SegTracker.c for example.

@Daytona675x

I made wrong assumptions, I thought that EGL_Wrap was an OpenGL ES 2.0 wrapper for Nova just like yours. Should I stop reading Amiganews.de?

Apologies.

Your wrapper is free while his is not so he just want to slow down competition I guess.

It is true for 68k Amiga due to the way the HW is done but I don't undertand why they didn't add a value for right CTRL for AmigaOS 4.x

it look like more than an editor, a C++ IDE I would say a bit like QTCreator. She build a framework QT like but not source compatible.

Re: BlitzMax for AmigaOS4.x

Thanks for doing this, great news! Indeed Mark Sibly wrote this one and he’s the author of Blitz Basic so good choice!
He wrote then the Monkey language and I know that someone did an AmigaOS 4 port, probably incomplete though. Now he’s working on Monkey 2. Blitzmax is nice since it is not OOP oriented like the latter.
