1. Try as I might, I cannot find this file. I also used the find utility, besides just opening the directory to look for it. I get this: System:System/AmiUpdate/AmiUpdate
and this:
System:System/AmiUpdate/RollBack/2021-01-20/AmiUpdate

But I don't find the SiteList file anywhere.

2. Over time I have added server addresses to AmiUpdate. For good measure and once and for all, what are all of the working sites to use for searching with AmiUpdate? Currently I have:

www.amiupdate.net
It also searches ww2.hyperion-entertainment.com. Entering my hyperion username and passwrod there lets it scan there as well even though it's not listed in my servers.

Even more interesting is that I just clicked on the link here and the video popped right up on my 5000 and played without a hiccup. . . and that's without any additional scripts or tweaks to Odyssey (thanks for that, too!)

With RadeonRX 2.5 I can no longer play the Power of Color Demo linked here somewhere. Sound plays, but the video screen is split diagonally with a black bottom and a very dark green or red (alternates as video progresses) top. I have "Power" prefs saved to high power. With RadeonRX 2.4 it played very nicely.

The DeSTiNY video linked elsewhere still plays as before without sound. One of my own .mp4 videos from church plays video and sound fine.

Is this the Yeston card with the purple shield covering the board? I need a better card in my WIndoze box, and I'm thinking I could take the RX550 out of the Amiga and put it in my Windoze computer (which is running graphics from the Trinity APU) and put the Yeston RX560 in the Amiga. I can get the Yeston from Newegg.

Since setting the Power prefs to "High" and saving it, Emotion can handle this video with sound perfectly. I can move the window around while it's playing. Also plays this video in full screen perfectly.

I need to get the CPU docky to see if it's stressing the CPU at all. But it doesn't seem to be.

Thanks for the info. It turns out that my ethernet hub has breathed it's last. After I gave up working on the Amiga late last night, I went to do some printing from my Windoze box.

Neither printer would work. Guess what was plugged into that ethernet switch? Yup. . . the Amiga and both networked printers.

Have to make a drive down to Best Buy today for a new 8 port switch.

The new connection wizard ask for P50x0eth 0 or 1 to set up. I've always had my cable plugged in to the port nearest the graphics card slot.

What are the port numbers for the ethernet port. . .

I can't find a diagram anywhere, and I've lost my ethernet connection. I need to start from scratch, but would like to solve this without taking the computer apart to find the silkscreened names.

Bummer! Most things were working quite nicely after Enhancer 2 was set up.

It looks like it failed to install A LOT from the libs install folder in enhancer.

I've just gone through and hand copied several folders and files all across the board from the install folders.

I'm surprised I didn't find more things not working.

Since ES2:

I was getting crashes with Emotion until I upped the stack size to your figure. Now I can get almost all the way through a short .MOV file shot on a phone, although there is no sound. I get a short amount of playback on an .MP4 I created on the Windoze computer at 640x480, with sound working.

I haven't tried anything stressful yet. But in the end, Emotion is still crashing.

I've finished manually copying over the components from the Enhancer 2 Kickstart installation files (didn't bother with the .debug versions.)

SFS is the only one which will show the version. If I use the list command, I also get no version number. (RadeonHD, RadeonRX, diskcache)

WIll this cause future issues with updates?
