@NinjaCyborg
Good question the rights holders for the games, because I think that the old Amiga fan will be back with the old practices of pirate games, also with this new hardware the fans programmers that want make new games to earn money will be the reality like has happened to others fans with their games low sales after to make a professional products with boxes, manuals disk, etc.

Re: Promote projects for donations

@walkero
The solution cans with a direct Paypal account for the author link for example like the WArMUp association and MorphOS store, or with someone that collect the donations and after the users of this site can choose or voted the people, but here the problem are the money and to have show the fonts and bills of money got and donated, and the donate computers, this is other problem, I knowed one case of one people that in the bad Amiga times and some company gifted Pegasos I for developers, this man never did programs and games for MorphOS to promote both the machine and OS, and this situation for the users can bother and angly them.

@Primax
In the case of MorphOS from WArMUp association has work in this with bounties and personal donations from the president, the problem is what developers to do the donation, and which projects, big, little, all, the other failure in the bounty system in all Amiga system has been searching a project and one developer responsible for it, when some developers has other projects or personal projects, donate computers, humm, when they hasve a cost of 300-400 euros the board where you find this money, because the Amiga users I think that we aren't richmen, and search external sponsors, well, this is a hobby computer not a sport team.

I have read this news from Amiganews:
http://www.amiga-news.de/en/news/AN-2021-07-00005-EN.html
It is true other AmigaOS? and with so OS for Amiga systems we will destroy the the niche of Amiga, because for new users, the big question what Amiga OS does install? and if it is true for what machines, Sams too and the other PPC machines like Macs?

@devils_advisor
You need the Hollywood plugins, perhaps your version have the corrupt plugins, you can download and install in your system from official site:
https://hollywood-mal.com/download.html
or in the best Amiga storages too.

@Futaura
Yes, you have reason WarpDT Preferences is available with executable for AmigaOS4 and MorphOS, this fault failure mine was because I have installed only in my AmigaOS 3.9.

@ktadd
The WarpDT datatypes only has preferences in the Amiga68k version.
Here the question is fast and stability but not all OS4 users we have the Enhacer pack and you can use the WarpDT datatypes in all your Amiga systems with the same license.

@Tohe
My post has been removed.
But, Yes, there is to pay for updates not for change a little things and sell it like new, and examples here there are too many, the more easy to pay for AmigaOS4.1 F.E., instead of to pay for the announced 4.2, this is a clear example, is like to pay for Windows 98 and again to pay for Windows 98 second edition, the same product with little improvements,
this frustate to users, besides of eternal promises, other example Timberwolf, the project raised more funds in one AmigaOS4 bounty, and instead to have this browser 100% operative the only option in AmigaOS4 is someone makes the port from Wayfarer, something difficult because the work is from jacadcaps and he works in th MOS core to can run this browser, I think that AmigaOS4 owners don't leave someone touch his code to run this new browser or other.

About the OpenOffice, in AmigaOS4 we have the AmiCygnix and it works very fine with the programs.

"Maybe during this weekend I'll have time to check my old MorphOS installation on my G5, for some reason it doesn't feel like Amiga (for me that is), but maybe it's time to check it again... "
Well, the only difference is the Workbench style, the OS4 more like OS3, but you can put some skin for this.

@Raziel
"OTOH if you try to remove the critical users by this, hey you are doing great...keep on and you'll sell your stuff to your family in a year, because no one else belives in anything you say anymore..."

I'm sorry, but here there are other people that remove the critical users, but for education, I don't say names.
The critical users in AmigaOS4 always have bothered, only in the forums had to praise the things although these don't work or don't do well, for example charge for all updates like 4.1 FE when you have bough the 4.1, while MorphOS each update is free.
