It did the same thing to me years ago when I purchased this TV and went 2.5K. You clearly see it in the one tab but never shows in the available. The setting was already there as well as it is the same screenmode that I left it at before the card switch.
Nice to know the Ctrl Alt Alt but that does not take care of the immediate issue, that 2560 x 1440 never showing in available screen.
Weird it is.
Thanks for the notes Martin.
Has to be some setting I don't have right or just not saving it. And clicking save and hard reset I have the same settings before the save meaning no faken checked, even if maybe not needed.
Will add 4k later to my manual settings but for now, after twaddling and finding some notes I made long ago (amazing I found them haha) that I needed to set Hsync higher than I think what seemed normal at the time. hahaha.
Hsync coming in at just under 89...88.86 khz so I set manually to 89 and vertical at 60 and boom, 2560x1440 shows now
Now will I be able to do that for the 4K. haha
That is for tomorrow.
Thanks for the ears all.

Original message...
The video will show you what I am experiencing. I seem to remember getting this mode to work on my HD7750 and this TCL 43" 4K TJ was tricky but did get to work and has worked for years.
I am not sure what setting I am not checking or saving or why I can't save my ScreenMode now for the faken resolutions, but maybe that is the issue?
That is why I had asked as I was unsure if I have to do more or if main RX chip is where it belongs, some minimum video happens so I can then set up the new display, much like when installing Amiga OS for the first time, some minimum is in place to see the video card for basic video.
I am running at 2.5k resolution on my AmigaOne X5K using the stock card that came inside, a Radeon HD7750. I have a Radeon RX580 on its way. Running Enhancer 2.2 so drivers should be OK, I believe.
Am I fairly safe to power down, swap cards, and the X5K boot with some form of video so I can then get into prefs and alter, adjust, as needed?
Will it boot under 1080p or ??
Just don't want to swap cards before I confirm just in case I need to do something on the video prefs 1st.
