Hello everyone,

Well, i'm still trying all my softs with the update 4.1.1 of our AOS and i'm trying now EvenMore.

I think that some of you know this software. It is a multi text file formats reader which includes MSWord, StarWriter, AmigaWriter, WordWorth, .rtf, etc. Well the pictures aren't shown but the text is anyway readable.

Reading the doc I saw that it has a web site http://www.evenmore.co.uk and it is still available.
I think that it deserves that we are interested in it because very useful. Well, there is a grim reaper, but as soon as we click "ignore DSI error" it works fine.

So, maybe if you download it the author will update it (acutally in december 2009) quicker... Another feature is that you can choose the icon bar in prefs. I'm using a AB-PowerIcon set.

It is not RUN >NIL: but try with RUN <>NIL: (notice the 2 brackets. Works fine to me.

There is also DVPlayer which have a new version (if I remember well 0.72). Can't be found on there own site.

I have an A1XEG4 1Ghz and I lost a lot of time in insalling the OS411 but solved the problem... maybe 1-2 hours later.

Well, first I formatted the sys partition and try to boot de CD... but nothing worked. I burned the ISO with AmiDVD (stopped at 47%), used FryingPan but couldn't find any ISO file... finally I used the old good piece of soft : MakeCD and I could burn it.

I booted from the CD and ... it didn't work... mmmhhh... I've tried then to boot from the OS4.0 and when arrived on the workbench screen (form CD) I copied all the OS4.1.1 files on the formatted partition. I restart the Amiga with boot device CD-ROM and I finally could install it.

Now I only have to copy some libraries from my OS41 partition and all programs should work.

If I will have any problems I will come here :)

Well this isn't a special post in order to talk about our beloved machines, but I would like to give a big thank to Allan Redhouse and Eyetech for their efforts to bring us a new Amiga by building the AmigaOne board.

Yes it has some know problems but I still have it! I was the first in Switzerland, in 2003, who purchased an AmigaOne XE G4 @900Mhz, and even if today it isn't the same (because of some electronic defaults I should exchange it with another AmigaOne G4 board) I can say that it works fine.

So if we take some minutes to think about, we can notice thant some months after the end of the AmigaOne boards the SAM came out. Now comes the X1000 and it is like a chain reaction (well I don't know if this expression is used in English) and in my mind, it's really a new beginning for our glorious Amigas.

Only hope that games/sofwares editors which were born thanks to the Amiga would open an Amiga department in their labs.

First of all I would like to thank Cyborg for EasyUAE and I'm pleased to use it.

The only problem is that when I would like to save the configuration GrimReaper comes and freezes all my system. How can I solve that problem ?

Should I send on OS4Depot the bug file ?

Maybe it won't be a surprise but... new version of OWB is avaible!

For users having an gmail account will be happy to see that some problems have be solved... but new problem appears : when quitting a requester appears to confirm username and password... Joerg, could you solve it ?

Another half-good news, is that hotmail is accessible... but limited with functions. For example can't read a mail on click. Checkbox work (could be selected).

I supposed that already some of you has tested Enelin7 from os4depot.net which is a FPS game.

To me it doesn't work because of asked of usr assignment and when used on owndrawer it creashs because doesn't find some files.

Ho to solve the problem ?

For people who can interest, i've seen, and downloaded, the new version of Amiblitz. The last one was the 3.12. The new one is 3.33 and published on 29 April.

I've right now downloaded Filer from os4depot.net and I was surprised to find new kind of icons.

The first time I saw such icons was with OWB. Where can we find this icons ? They are nice but with my resolution (1024x768) they are to big but it doesn't matter.

A question : i've seen that in documentation which can be found in OS4.1 there is an article for Arexx Script commands line.

My Question: are all commands listed in the doc ("Workbench-Arexx.doc" or there are only the most used ? I would like to try to create some small scripts.

A question : on the swiss auction site ricardo.ch OWB can't log in. In fact, instead of having fields for user name and password it shows the html code of it.

Could you solve this problem or how can I do to access the account ?

Hi everyone,

A question : i'm trying to use WarpSnes with my A1 OS4.1 and when I load a SNES ROM it crashes.

I've saved report in RAM to c how it is. But i've never read a crash report. Could someone help me ? Can I learn it or one needs to understand programming ?

By the way, is there anyone who can use it ? Before on my AOS4.0 it worked fine.

Works fine here too (A1 XE 1Ghz, 512 MB RAM, Radeon 9250).

Now a question : Along time ago i've made a small program with AMOS Pro which was made for knowing a the day giving any date. But because of the commands it's hard for me to use the source file with, for example, AmiBlitz3. Have you planned to make a converter AMOS Pro => AmiDark Basic ?
