I can't get youtube-js to work on a SAM 460 (neither getvideo), but both work on my old A1. I probably miss something...

I noted the same behaviour. I am not sure if it is a yam, mui or upd 5 problem

I had also lost the connection. Solved by replacing bsdsocket.library with the old version....

Installed and... lost my wireless connection. I had to revert to the old version of bsdsocket.library in order to get it back (and had to fiddle for a while before sorting this out...). With prism.device on A1XE

Now, I did some experiments. The last working version is the one dated 16 july (I have to change the system-time in order to use it). BUT, if I install more recents copies over it AFTER having used it once, the more recent versions WORK. BUT if I reboot, they stop working. I jump to the conclusion, that the working version calls for some function that stays resident in memory and still works for the other versions who dont call for it anymore, because they find it already in memory, but if I reboot, they don't find it anymore and load a not working version instead. That's all I can say

@tboeckel
Sorry if I didn't report it. I remember that one day the new version gave me that problem, so I reverted to one some days older, as I noticed that such problems disappeared quickly. Then I went on holidays and I reverted yesterday finding that the older version stopped working, so I downloaded the latest one and stupidily enough I overwrote the older one. The system doesn't freeze, but the processor goes to 100% and nothing happens. I can't report any bug, then I don't know how to say more useful things. Please, don't take it bad, I respect your wonderful work!
Thanks,
Luca

I have exactly the same problem, since late July. I have no idea at all why it happens. Here on A1XE.

you access the embedded html server. In the address-bar of owb you type the address of the printer (for example 129.168.1.2 or whatever, there is a menu on the printer where you can get the actual address) and it opens the web page of the printer. From there you go to scan. For me, in OWB I have to set the mime-type jpg to "download file", else I can't get the image on my A1.

yes, inkjet. It works with the photosmart amiga driver and lpr-device. Scan directly through the web-server...

I save pdf and print from amipdf. And postscript also works (for better results I print to a postscript file and convert it to pdf through GS). I save into ram with the name out.ps, then run the script named s:pdf
****** ghostscript:gs -q -dNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -r360x360 -sPAPERSIZE=a5 -sOutputFile=ram:pgs.pdf ram:out.ps -c quit requestchoice "PDF" "Document prêt" "OK" >NIL: ******

in fact, I use it every day on my A1 and it works very well and stable. It seems it's not so for everybody. I had problems on Sam, but now it works also there. Using version 5.0.3.3 pro

Hi, As you know, the dev. nightly build of YAM lasts only some weeks, so you have to download a newer version every time. But now, 30 of october, the latest version is from september and doesn't work (I had to change the date of the system in order to continue to use it). Where are the newest versions? Check here : http://yam.ch under the menu item Downloads
