I just precised that I already donated and that I will do it again (by the way, you never confirmed the fact that I said you something even if I wrote you 2 mails asking for good reception).

I don't understand what you're trying to say.. What does asking for good reception mean?

Whenever I receive a donation I reply and say thanks. Are you saying I missed your donation email?

I have to donate but there is so many people to give some money:

Rogue
Jahc (I sent him 20$ US last year)
Spot-Up (even if I **hate** the "Port For Profit" term)
Varthall
Joerg
Mason
AfxGroup
Bean (I sent him 11? last year)
EvilRich
and all those who develop some very useful tools or addictive games

We cannot give all our salary to them (even if I'd like to ).

Right now, I can't afford to give money to any of them wihle I'd really like since there are many softwares from them I use daily.

When I have more money, I'll be glad to offer them money for their great work

I hate to say it, but I think everyone that wanted to donate in the past 3 years has done it by now. So we're relying on people making 2nd and 3rd donations now..

I stand by the prediction of Hyperion Entertainment winning this case, in totality. I've dissected Amiga Inc. Del.'s opening paragraph which is on Justia's page (the one that lists all the documents) on another, ahem, website and it has no credibility whatsoever.

Do you really believe Hyperion are going to win? Or do you merely *want* them to win? I want them to win too, but I have a feeling this case could go either way.

@Mikey_C

Amiga Inc argue that Hyperion cannot get AmigaOS, because the clause in the contract states it will go to the AmigaOne partners, which is Hyperion AND Eyetech. The question is, can the judge let the AmigaOne partners have it, both Hyperion and Eyetech, even though Eyetech is not a party in this suit? This seems to be the show stopper to me. But I'm not too good with this legal talk, I just like to make widdle pieces of software.

@MamePPCA1

Oh I understand your issue now. Your screens arent centered? What screen resolution is your game using? And what happens if you configure Workbench to use that screen resolution? do you get the same off center results?

EDIT: I have an LG 19" LCD monitor too. You have to go into the menus to adjust your position/width settings.

If you're referring to the Capcom 6 button beat'em ups, they require you to enter their funny resolutions into your monitor driver... I used to have about 10 different custom modes, but I've lost them in a recent OS reinstall.. but for example, one of them was:

MODE=384x224@70

Run your games in windowed mode and you'll see their screen resolution. Write it down and enter those into your monitor tootltypes, reboot, and test if they work.

Dont worry about it.. most IRC users are very picky about what they use to IRC with. :)

WookieChat has an ARexx port, but its very buggy. I copied nearly all of AmIRC ARexx commands, and gave them an additional "NETWORK" parameter to make it work nicer with multiple networks.. It's disabled by default. Read the docs for info on how to enable it. The only missing functions from AmIRC's implementation is stuff concerning DCC I think.

ARexx did work fine for me when I last used it, but then I made small changes here and there in my code, and now I dont know if it still functions. I should really look into it. It never really worked that well in the first place though..

@person who said it looks like mIRC

You can configure Wookie to make it look like AmIRC/XChat.. i.e. multiple columns in the chat display, and graphical representations for operater/voice status beside peoples nicks in the nicklist.

3d Games with Software rendering

I have a gfx card that doesn't have supported 3d. Does anyone know which of the Quake games on os4depot.net support software rendering? Ideally I'd like to give Quake 1 and 2 a whirl.. but I dont want to track down/buy the discs just yet until I know what will work for me.

I got most of OWB working without allocating memoroy for the complete pages/frames, but not everything (for example the selection borders around text input and textareas are wrong), i.e. it has even more display errors than the normal version ...

1. Is this a change that will benefit other platforms too? (besides Amiga?)

2. How much memory will be saved? (for example)

3. Will this change potentially make it easier to implement some form of tabs?

I know, I use it. But it still lets the gif anims play once before they stop. I want an option to not play them at all, because even when they play once and stop it takes a while for some forum pages to become usable. :)

Feature request: Can you add the option to totally disable gif anims? On some forums it takes a while for a page with a lot of gif anims to become usable..
