Did you manage to solve the 100% cpu usage issue?

I nominate klesterjr. His icons help give Amiga a distinct look and identity, both OS4 and emulated!

@Slayer If its reporting no drives are available on your sil 0680 card, could you try using the onboard IDE on the motherboard? it should work reliably if you dont use DMA. Use the env variables on this page to configure your UBOOT: http://www.titan.co.nz/amigaak/AA020816.htm

@joerg Quote: Scrolling will be much faster in the next version. But like in the Blastoise port the optimized scrolling is too fast causing some rendering problems I have to fix before the next update I will kiss you if you manage fast scrolling. I remember those rendering problems from the v1.x versions, but if you can manage scrolling at that speed, then..... great success!

@Chris Quote: Already done (I wouldn't have got this far without their help)
Important to-dos: 1. Fix the graphical rendering which makes aw.net unreadable 2. Fix the crashing in the forums here and at aw.net when logged in.
But I'd also like to: 3. Make the rendering more complete (some drawing functions aren't implemented at all, others are very basic) 4. Implement downloads 5. Implement bookmarks
There are lots of other things to be done, but I'd like to do at least 1, 2 and 4 before any sort of release. There will be masses of complaints otherwise (and I can think of some other things that will be complained about that are beyond my control) Hi, do you have any updates for us since you posted this a week ago? I'd be interested in hearing how development is going..

@Mikey_C
AWeb-speed sounds very good!
It's a shame theres no tabs though. I wonder if theres a way to create "fake tabs". CubicIDE has a separate window for each file, but it has a tabbed display at the top of each window. If all the windows are the same size and its on its own screen, you dont really realise that its faked the tabs. And its a perfectly good solution I think.
I heard somewhere that javascript support is being worked on. I think it was on an aw.net thread. Chris, can you tell us what Netsurf's roadmap has in store regarding javascript?

I'm quoting a post from amigaworld.net, in the hope that we may hear some interesting information on this new filesystem. Quote: I want to create an entry in Wikipedia about JXFS...
Can someone from Hyperion (Rogue, where are thou?), or any experienced user could indicate the main specs of JXFS?
Available Blocksizes? Maximum partition size? Filenames, longfilenames? Metadata? Is it journaled or not? etcetera...
Thanks in anticipation Also a few questions from myself: 1. Will there be recovery and repair utilities avaiable? 2. How much faster than SFS will JXFS be? Thank you Joerg!

The end of the discovery phase is the 31st July (tomorrow). I *think* the judge will now make a decision in favour of either party, or start a jury trial.

Nice work! Do you think there will be any further optimisations? Scrolling seems much faster than OWB 1.9, and without the graphical glitches.

I second Xeron.
pftp is a great FTP program. It's light weight, but has all the basic features you need. Plus it does FTP to FTP transfers, which is unique on OS4 I believe (correct me if I'm wrong anymore!). I use this software on my LAN for transferring files around, and also for updating my WookieChat website.
Also.. HivelyTracker is a unique piece of Amiga audio software. I dont think theres anything quite like it on OS4.
They're both freely available too. I love free software!
EDIT: Typo

Ah, I'm very relieved! I was worried that a donation to me had gone unthanked. I'm glad we got that cleared up. :)
