Yes, that's correct of course. SFS versions do have incompatibilities, but I think SFS/00 is "supposed" to be cross-compatible. That's what I had used. JXFS didn't help either. Anyway, it could well be some strange behavior of SFS after all as all the other partitions are SFS/00.

Dunno if it as a bad block although i highly doubt it as under OS3.9 and MOS 2.2 it was fine. Maybe some peculiarity of this HD and OS 4.1 peg2 ide driver (?). In any case, it works and all's good now :)

So, I've deleted the partition and recreated with JXFS with os41's toolbox, I still get the same error. Any ideas are welcome. :)
EDIT:
Problem solved after I resized the partition to have 1 (!!!) cylinder less. Now works fine with SFS. Weird, isn't it?

Hi I've installed OS 4.1 on my peg 2 and the updates from Hyperion's site and I get this error on startup of OS 4.1: http://yfrog.com/4cpeg2idebugjAlso, just to note, that this is the last partition on my 160gb hd, the other partitions (formated with SFS as well) are fine.

Anyway , thx in advance for any relevant info.

I'd like an option for the context menu to open link in an inactive tab. Also an add tab button at the toolbar as well as go buttons for url and search. Oh and a close gadget at each tab too. Of course, more important is a download window to see the status, prefarably some resume function for downloads as well. In any case, I'm ultra happy with 3.10, it's awsome!

back to what I had suggested at some point in the past: mp3pro support. I've found this: http://ttsiodras.googlepages.com/mp3pro.htmlfor linux and mplayer, a plugin from Thompson for xmms it seems. i don't know if that could help tunenet to get an mp3pro plugin. WMA pro would be nice too, but I don't have anything to point out to for help.

@joerg
Yup, downloading if only solely through the context menu, would be great. far better than no download at all I'd say :)
You're also correct about the middle mouse button, it's better that way. Adding a tooltype, as you said, would be great too. I understand that's a lot of work and I can only say that it'd be nice to have tabs on 4.0 too, but it's not the most important thing in the universe if it's too much work.

Great thing that he have a context menu! I agree it should be configurable and set to rclick as default. Btw, as there's a context menu now and owb has an arexx port and since download support will take quite some time to happen, would it be possible to add an item in the context menu to send the download to Charon or a similar program with an arexx port as suggested in the past?

DVPlayer is just so fine a piece of software I couldn't live without using OS4. I hope flv and mov (and rm at some point....pretty please? :) ) support are on their way!
It's one of those ultra essential things one must buy for his OS4 - period.

@LiveForIt
I think Hyperion basically just supported Voodoo on Mediator than Mediator itself as this is a common gfx solution among classic PPC users. 8129 network too. Both of these do not require the buffer trick, so , basically - I think - Hyperion just supported the most basic things a Mediator can have without buffer tricks. Writing proper drivers for mediator itself for OS4 I believe is something Elbox should do, it's their device. Of course the 68k drivers can be run emulated under OS4, but it's not really a great option - ie many slow downs and crashes.

@nubechecorre
I believe that's something elbox should do, writing os4-specific drivers. I don't think Hyperion has anything to do with that.

@joerg
would you at least consider making a last cairo-less version of OWB with working downloads and , maybe , bookmarks? Cuz, as OWB 2.8 is, is pretty much good and stable, but misses those 2 very important features (especially the download). Think of it as a OWB 2.85 maybe? :)

So, will you still update OWB for us classic OS4 users who may never see Cairo implemeted?
Keep up the good work!

I've tried 1.3 for 68k today, but I get a "ixemul.library message" saying illegal instruction OWB.
I've installed latest ixemul and ixnet from aminet for 060 do I need anything else? Also, since I've read it needs exec 45, I'm using a patched kickstart with Piru's exec (it's reported as kickstartc 46.1, workbench 45.3), is that a problem as well? I have 3.9 with bb1 and bb2 installed though.
Thanks! :)

@LyleHaze
I had the same problem, but I downloaded owb 1.12 lha which includes the .so objects and now it works. Is that what you've used? If not, try it. Another thing, sometimes unarc decompresses the files corrupted, I have no clue why. I had to unpack them on the peecee with winrar then move them to miggy, try that too and tell us if it helped.

I've no idea if it works under os4, but secondspin ripped, encoded and checked freedb too afair, so, if it works, I think it's the tool to use.
