Hey, Hans.. this is quite a cool project. I havent been following it too closely. I didnt realise you had a driver in the works for current machines (using PCI cards). I thought it was for PCI-Express for one day in the future when new machines appeared.

What would the theoretical performance be like in 3d and games compared to existing Sam440ep's, and A1 AGP Radeons? How about Quake3?

The fonts look great in v2.19.

All I'm missing now is file downloading and tabs, though the latter might be a little impossible. :(

Is it faster now? It takes 8 seconds before the amigans.net page shows after clicking on the OWB icon.. seems faster.

The point is..... OWB is smooth enough to use now, its no longer a web slideshow!

OWB 2.11 runs AMAZING on my Sam, the scrolling is nearly as good as IBrowse now. It's very smooth most of the time, AND this on my Sam without L2 cache. On an A1 it'd be even better. Also stability is way up since the last time I played with it. WELL DONE Joerg, I just wish I had some money to send you. You really deserve it. This is the best port Amiga has seen in a long time!

All you need to do now is add "fake tabs".. a row of buttons for each window to change between windows, similar to how Golded and CubicIDE do it!

v2.9 of OWB requires cairo support which is only present in OS4.1 currently.

Jorg, what's the advantage of using cairo in OWB now?

P.S. thank you klesterjr for the original "online status" graphics for SabreMSN.. 24bit with alpha channel, looks great on my OS4 box! And also for coming up with icons for RockBEAT and WookieChat when I needed them!
