I've got my friends old monitor,it's a Viewsonic Proffesional series P225f. Where can i obtain information regarding this monitor and resoulutions etc... Any help is good help.

Go into Prefs catalog. Start deficons. Slide down to movies on the left,add,type flv. window on the right. Add Pattern. #?.flv. Double click on the flv in the left window and go to the icon and enter the place for the mplayer. i set the stack to 6mb,not sure if you have to but.

Is there an easier or better way?

I have sometimes problems getting online with my SE and ADSL. It seems to find ip adress and all that but when i try ibrowse it says no dns found.

I then try to shut down the network and restart it. It then gives me the following output:

Waiting for network to shut down... shutdown finished.

What does the expiry stuff means???

Sometimes this works,other times it wont connect.

Is this the amiga's fault or some problems with the adsl line???

The 512mb sim i had,was the one shipped with the a1. Don't remember the type etc,for that ask Kjetil(liveforit). I had crashes quite often,couldn't boot the final cd,had to install everything after running the os. Had to replace the mui with some files from upd#4. Ib crashed quite often. All kinda problems. With kjetils sim ib is very stable. Have installed final,and even july update without problems. And the strange part is that the 512 sim i had was tested in kjetils xe and seemd to work ok. And the 512 sim i had i did test using memtester for several hours without problems.

I don't remember the name for it. I'll ask liveforit since i swapped with him. It's quite odd since we tried my ram in his machine and installed the os4 final without problems. So it might be that the SE is a bit problematic? So if everything works great for him he got twice the ram he used to have.

I've foound the mother of all problems. It was the ram that did all this to me. I'm now using a different ram and i have installed a fresh final without problems,which was not possible before. Even installed the latest update with no problems. Mui works well,everything seems to work great now. I'm a happy guy

Not sure when,but LiveForIt(kjetil) sent me an mms showing it on os4.
But he's got some porblems booting the a1 at the moment. So not sure when it will be ready.

There is a os4 version on the way.
