Samba/smb.conf + Windows 10 ??

Hello everybody,

I am trying to connect to Samba Amiga Shares from my Win 10 pro machine. The whole thing is setup on the Amiga OS4 side, and already working with WinXP (via VMWare Player and on my other machine).

However Win 10 keeps telling me, when I connect a share, that I donnot have proper authentification. This is my smb.conf:

More than excellent, I am still doing my Invoices with FinalWriter (OS4) - ARexx - MUIBase CRM. So yes, I am really looking forward to that. An Amiga OS4 native Version would be really appreciated - and I would be willing to pay a 100€ for an updated Version. Maybe I would also buy an AROS or Windows Version to be able to use it on my x86 Notebook.

as robo-ant said, I use KeePass on Android, Windows and X1000/PPC Linux already. The database is shared between all of them, and always kept in sync.

From a quick read, this project stopped somehow? Or did I miss something, I need a Plugin for ext2 filesystem to transfer stuff to my Linux on X1000...

Fair enough, it took (still takes) quiet a while until X1000 is/was fully supported speaking of Onboard Ethernet and Sound. And yes I exptected AOS 4.2 way earlier.

But
1) I guess you guys will perform better when new AmigaOne arrives.
2) AOS 4.2 will have more features than exptected (Did anybody say Gallium is part of AOS 4.2?)

Will multicore support be part of AOS 4.2, will multicore support be available as free update for X1000?

Works via USB and LAN
seems that printing only works via Postscript, which means that photos are printed to dark. Other than that, printing is perfect.
Scanning works via Scan to ftp and Scan to SMB. There are no drivers neither in Linux PPC nor in OS4 which enables you to scan via any sort of GUI. There is sadly no Web Interface which could be used for scanning (like in some HP Printers).

In my case, I connected a Harddrive to my Router (FritzBox), set up an FTP server on FritzBox and scan to FitzBox FTP. I can then mount FritzBox via mountFTP on my OS4 machine.
