I just installed a new graphics card (HD 7750 1GB DDR5) in my SAM460, I purchased and installed Enhancer 1.5 and the Enhancer Software Graphics Upgrade, but I cannot get any Warp3D programs to work.

I downloaded Alain Thellier's Cow3D that compares Warp3D/Nova. The Nova Cow3D seems to work fine, but the normal Cow3D (Warp3D version) doesn't even open. Instead a window appears with the following message:
"Cant create Warp3D C.wcontext! (result -4)
Cant ResetTexBlendWarp3D (result -2)"

(Before upgrading my graphics card, I had used Wazp3D; but now I've reverted to the normal Warp3D library.)

Any suggestions?

It seems weird that it would be a uboot issue, since it boots all the way into Workbench (then freezes); but I'm sure Hans understands what the problem is.

I'd love to be able to find a passively cooled graphics card that works with my SAM460; but I can't find anywhere in the U.S. to buy one.

So it looks like I'm going to need to buy another graphics card. I'd really like to avoid wasting money on another card that doesn't work. Does this one appear to be one that should work with a SAM460? (I don't care about it taking up two slots.)

So I purchased and installed the Enhancer Software Graphics upgrade. Now I can boot into Workbench, but within a second the whole system freezes and I need to do a hard reboot.

If I bypass the user-startup (holding down the left shift key) then it boots into Workbench and doesn't freeze until I double-click any of the icons. Booting Workbench like this, I can move my mouse as much as I want; I can single-click any icon with no problems; but as soon as I double-click any of them, then the system locks up.

Do I need to purchase the Enhancer Software Graphics Upgrade in order to boot into Workbench with this new card?

I put it into my SAM460, UBoot works fine, all the preloading seems to work, then it gets stick when it says: "Loading done, now launching kickstart."

Any ideas?

Yes, Zita FTP server by Hans is nice. (I purchased it a while ago.) It's just not a convenient option for transferring files to and from my Android devices.

For me, an output window displays these three lines:
returning file "QFtpServer/QFtpServer/fonts"
returning file "QFtpServer/QFtpServer/fonts"
returning file "QFtpServer/QFtpServer/fontsconfig"

After a few seconds an empty window appears (which I'm guessing should be the GUI), followed by The Grim Reaper. If I select the option to Ignore DSI errors, the GR reappears, and now the button to ignore the errors is ghosted.

Do you guys have a "fonts" or a "fontsconfig" file in your QFtpServer/QFtpServer directory? (I don't.)

Has anyone gotten this to work?

(For me it always crashes.)

Still using my old Radeon HD 5000M Series card.

(I'd love to upgrade; but I haven't found a passively cooled option with the newer cards.)

Great idea!

I had never thought of this before; but it is now a feature of the new IconEditor I just uploaded to OS4Depot.

Any page of a PDF can be imported as an icon using the regular methods (either using the "Open" menu option or drag-and-drop). Additionally, there is a menu option for batch processing multiple PDFs at once---automatically giving them icons from the first page of the files.

So I just updated my MUI 5 installation and have been playing around with PatchASL.

It's got some great potential! The only thing I don't like about it is that there doesn't seem to be any way to snapshot it, or customize its initial layout.

Or am I just missing something?
