I have no issues connecting to Amigans.net with NetSurf 3.11.

My system is a MicroA1 with AmigaOS 4.1 FE Update 2 Hotfix.

My last version of NetSurf was NetSurf 3.10. I have not installed any of the test builds between 3.10 and 3.11.

I created a new drawer for NetSurf 3.11 and installed NetSurf 3.11 into that new drawer and then copied over my Choices file and Hotlist file from my old NetSurf 3.10 drawer to my NetSurf 3.11 drawer. I also renamed my old NetSurf 3.10 drawer so it would not interfere with the new version.

Unfortunately, I can't logout of the Amigans website.

I can't see the user menu.

I think this was the same on NetSurf 3.10

Posting this post using NetSurf 3.11 ...

Seems to work fine on the websites I regularly visit,
Amiga.org, Amigaworld.net, Amigans.net, amiga-news.de,
and CBC Lite News website.

Since it appears that the actual engine has not been updated, I will continue with the Hyperion version of AmiPDF for now.

Is the AmiPDF program supplied with Enhancer Software simply an update to the AmiPDF program supplied with AmigaOS 4.1 FE?

Does the Enhancer version of AmiPDF require other stuff from the Enhancer Software suite?

Back in August of 2019, I was finally able to get printing working from my MicroA1 to our HP OfficeJet 4560 printer,
- using HP Photosmart - HP PCL3GUI printer driver from OS4Depot
- using NetPrinter v 1.15 from aminet.

I was able to print from Final Writer 97 and NotePad.

However, a few days ago, I tried printing and no go.

Today I installed Airscan and it found the printer just fine and I was able to scan a document and print (from NotePad) to the IP address discovered by Airscan.

Not sure why netprinter can't find the printer if I use the hostname for the printer (used to work just fine).

While I agree with you, it is unlikely that they will release a special version for older systems.

I own a MicroA1. Years ago, I purchased the Special Edition of Enhancer v1.5 available for the older systems.

Enhancer v2.2 was released as a single version for all systems. It contains alot of programs and software enhancements, some required by the newer systems with graphics cards. You can pick and choose which enhancements and programs you install.

I purchased Enhancer v2.2 and installed selected bits and pieces to provide some minimum enhancements for my ancient MicroA1 system.

Just curious ...

I notice a boing ball at the top right of your screen, some icons down the right side, and a calendar at the bottom right.

I know that the calendar is a running Enhancer Calendar.

Are the boing ball and other icons on the right side on a vertical dock or minimized programs?

Also, I do not see a notification message.
Maybe the notification server is turned off.

Hopefully someone with an X5000 will respond.

Perhaps something was corrupted in the download.

Enhancer Software Installer seems to work ok on my MicroA1.

I get beyond the point shown in your video.

I see the Enhancer Software Welcome splash screen,
followed by a notification message.

"Proceed" button and "Exit Enhancer Software Install" button.



I clicked the "Exit Enhancer Software Install" button, because I don't want to accidently overwrite anything on my system.


I installed selected portions of Enhancer Software 2.2 on my system quite a while ago and I have used Updater for some updates that have become available since that time.
