512 MB RAM should be enough, or at least it was for PC/Mac on release.

Get the source (for maybe a small amount of money). Don't waste money on hardware just for one port.

I'm getting CPU spikes (100%) all the time with latest Odyssey (clean install) and Amigans.net loaded.

It's so bad that Odyssey misses my keystrokes when the spikes occurs.

It won't work with ROM 3.1 or lower. You need 3.1.4 or a custom ROM.

You change blindly by hitting the Enter button to change from 15 to 31 KHz.

Yes, with 3.1.4 you can change between 15 and 31 KHz. I believe you change by pressing Enter.

kas1e: Try boot AmigaOS from CD and skip USB completely.

And perhaps set your Uboot nvram settings back to default.

Is Silicon Image 3132 (via PCI-Express x1 slot) supported or not?

The manual says:
0680 (PATA via PCI slot)
3114 (SATA via PCI slot)
3512 (SATA via PCI slot)

The 2015a Uboot source code adds 3132.

Moving the SATA board from the PCI to the PCI-Express x1 slot would free space for a two slot graphics board in the Sam460ex/cr (losing the sound in the cr model).

Has anyone used a 3132 card in a Sam460?

The "paper" under the heatsink/radiator does indeed look a bit strange.
