Thanks Hans, filled in survey and thank you for the tutorials.

Nice work Caras do you have a blog showing any development info. Happy to contribute in some way to your project. (betatest/graphics)

As far as other tools that might help and something im looking into is developing Isometric game using voxel or something similar. (free pc/mac)

Hi Hans,

Good to know that it might be possible using webcams, thanks for the info.

Do have the an older wacom working with PPaint and Sketcblock, the wacomtablet.lha from OSDepot works well.

Will contact Broadblues as I have found some interesting artifacts in PPaint.

Animating on AmigaOS4.1
Just popping in
Just popping in

Hi Everyone,

I'm playing catchup mode now that I have an AmigaOne system :)
I'm looking at different approaches to animating on the AmigaOS 4.1.

Can we use any USB webcam such as any from Logitech? from my quick search in this forum we can't as yet? The concept for the camera capture is to point it at a flat surface and draw with a laser light.

I realise I can use other non Amiga devices such as my phone but my focus is seeing what I can do on the Amiga.

My backup plan is to use PPaints animation tool but this will be slower.

Any advice is most appreciated.

Firstly, sorry to bring up an old thread.
Did anyone find out more info about who owns Brilliance.

If not I'll carry on the journey as I'm an active user of this and other art programs on Amiga :)

Project backed as mentioned in other places :)
Posted on blog :)

How can we contact every possible AMIGA user about this project? (Besides suggesting admins email every user in system), it's not often we get such a special opportunity like this.

Maybe the focus also needs to be posting on Mac/PC/Linux/ other platform forums although I have to admit I don't belong to any non Amiga forums, besides the Atari, spectrum and amstrad :)

As we get closer to the deadline, I hope Tower 57 authors remind us of upping our donations.

Hello Orgin,

Sounds like a fun idea, is it possible to have a tile-able background so the design fills the width of the browser window, example here. This particular background is a 1 pixel width gradient.
