is not only mine issue, this issue other people see like hd led,power led turned on when the machine is powered off.

i was disgusted for all the situation.
machine suffer of overheating inside an aero cool case with two big fan case. Overheating come out when i build with in smp with j4 ... on single thread or dual no issue.
i solved this in this way case opened and this extra fan:

reported to trevor 2 times, 3 email to aeon (trevor and matthew) for ask an water cooling solution ... result no reply. Plus for my discovers, alfa testing, found issue, made linux working, try to find possible solutions i knowed thru an happy email that i pay the machine more than the people that will start beta testing now(!!!!) and this made me really nervous.

for me beta testing a machine means test all the hardware not only an os.

sorry but like i say to everyone ... you, gullaume, christian made a great job ... same i can say to the hyperion guys did the best with less resources.... but the managment of aeon i think need to have a reset. and start understand that without real hardware testers and beta users all is lost... and sorry i prefer leave this boat before will goes totally under the sea.

tested the same gpu on a pc and there there is not this issue.
Note the two X5000 case internal fans (mobo fans plugs) continue run with poweroff psu (off psu switch)
they stop running only when i pull out the hdmi from the gpu.
this issue is present on X5000 20 and X5000 40. reported many time ago to trevor
result no reply.

this one of the reasons why i exit from the linux manteiners (and all e-eon mailing lists) and not sign the nda for x5000/40 ... no replies to the hw issue (are many) that i found and i had been reported to a-eon.

plus they made me pay about 50 gpb +22% vat more the motherboard without ram and pci lans compared the other beta tester and i made the alfa testing 1 year before the betatester.

my motto now is #nomoreaeoninmyhome

i had a strange esperience with my sam440.
it was working to me ... i sold it to a guy and to him was not starting. he sand it back to me and it was working . i resend the machine to him and nothing...
my first think was to the monitor i think some voltage run(or not) on the dvi plug.
this small voltage dont make sam turn on.
I have this on x5000 too.
if i dont turn on the monitor the machine dont turn on, this come with the new gpu oldest dont have this "issue".

what we really need is somthing like is macports. for example the guys of teen4fox thanks to this tool are able to build new version of the gecko engine on the old osx leopard.
for what i know macports are like a geekgadget but in a cloud server. where every ports is build on the machine by the user every time they need something. ports build dependency, library and program need by user automatically. is a really usefull thing and can be really useful an engine like this to our community.

worg good on linux PPC , work good on osx leopard build on gcc 4.22 use old opengl or software renderign there is a qt 4 gui .
can be ported on amigaos

umm yes and no, if one of the core was used for 68k emulation
but in this case we are in smp range and we know smp isnt available on amigaos.

can be something relative timebase calculation inside the program.
but im pretty sure fixable., because in past i have this slow performances on warpmame and how it run really good and fast.

amp have issue too with rewarp. i think video players issue come because probably this programs was using picasso pip. if i remeber good pip are not supported in hardware on the new gpu.

about othe programs slower, can be there is awinquakewos who did the same issue probably dennis have to fix something... more programs we test better he can fix

on m x5000 working, i m using rewarp with warp3dsi
note dennis have x5000 too. check better your system

quakewos from frank wille is more faster than the same quake port from 2009!
at 640x480 on my machine
159.6 fps Quakewos
158.1 fps Quake Os4

I been test all quake for warpos on the amigascene are working.

Plus i been test from amidog warpos ports:
Darknes
Mame
AmiGenerator
GBE
TrueReality
Mess

Need to test some other warpos software and check.

Unfortuanlly the ppc.library emulation is right now not working .but im sure him will fix this too.
