It all depends on whats being blocked. I can right click on an ad & add it to blocked.prefs, & I've done that. Just need Lio to turn it off & see if thats his problem or not. My v7 works just fine otherwise, so its a setting.

@Lio
I was thinking the same, but I did get the download to work today. I entered prefs & turned js on & adblocking off, saved & quit odyssey, The download button worked with a re-start. I've had sites that showed nothing with adblock turned on in the past. See if that works for you, you can also just re-name conf/blocked.prefs.

It appears that site doesn't like adblocker turned on.

@interrogative
Sorry to say a GR log doesn't help. OS4 graphics is changing, so only a native os4 port is going to work for us. I have spent some time trying to get it working & it does start on my x1000, but modeling is no good, but I can do a very fast render if I import a scene from a classic machine.

Aladdin4D won't start on my 4000T under os3.1, let alone under e-uae. It does run under os3.5/3.9 with e-uae. Not sure it works 100% the same as on a classic, it does give me the yellow alert on quit & I need to quit e-uae to get out of it.

That makes 2 of us. There are some tutorial sites out there, but they haven't helped me much. I do find MineCraft For Dummies on Amazon, used for $4, tempted.

@LiveForIt Tried to post this on your forum with Odyssey, but failed. FFMPEG-2.5-Altivec.lha I tested this one yesterday. I use ffmpegGUI v3.3 as a tool to give me video & audio info of a movie. @Deniil
Didn't realize pipe coolers depended on cpu temp to fire them up, thanks for the info.
@Razel
I'd be very interested on how the new cooler works out for you. Monitor the temperature without a fan first. I've done this with the current heatsink, to hot for me without the fan.

@JosDuchIt
If its version 0.61, then you need to replace it with v2.4. Nothing else needs to be done. Make sure v2.4 is the only driver installed.

@tonyw
I did look into replacing the heatsink/fan with a pipe cooler only, got me looking at how the heatsink was mounted. Its not easy to see, but the stock cooler is custom built with the feet. Mounting screws are on the back side of the board into those feet. Would require removing the bd for me to replace it. I did replace the cpu fan for a less noisy one, now my HDs make the most noise.

@tonyw Quote: Is your heatsink custom-machined to fit the chip, or are you using a standard heatsink? If you are using a standard heat sink, how do you get it to fit the chip?
Can you provide a photo of the heatsink mounted in your X-1000? The stock heatsink has standoffs to make it fit on the cpu, if you look at the side view picture on his web site, you will see the new heatsink also has the standoffs, so should fit. Would be interesting to try one without a fan, still might need one on hot Summer days, but at a lower speed.

@LiveForIt Quote: Interesting fix, I have not tried it yet, but I will try to write protect the cache files to see if problem disappear, thanks. I use SFS2, because FFS is slow. I agree FFS is very slow vs SFS, which is why I made a 500Mb FFS partition for TW only. Why, because we were told the ,sqlite files worked 100% on FFS. I'm sure this is why TW runs faster then on an SFS partition. The other issue with a non start or GR on start is that the CurrentUserProfile "places.sqlite" file spins off new extentions on startup. These temp extentions should get deleted when TW quits, sometimes they don't. If I get a start up problem, I make sure "places.sqlite" is the only one that exists, just delete any other "places" extentions & re-start.
