@K-L Quote: I tried to surf like that but it still feels I'm using another computer. Of course it does, because you are. As I wrote in the Amibrowser thread. This is my solution for now, until something OS4 native comes along. Up until recently I was running RemoteDesktop on my X1000 to connect to a very old laptop, running Windows 10, to do things I couldn't do under AmgiaOS4. It worked pretty well with a couple of things to avoid. (like it would freeze if I tried to copy the URL from the URL field of the Windows browser.) Recently I purchased this TRIGKEY Mini PC Ryzen 5 5500U for $230, which runs Windows 11 Pro, but I couldn't get RemoteDesktop to work with it. So...I switched to runiing TightVNC server on the Windows side and TwinVNC client on the X1000 side. I have to say it runs better than RemoteDesktop. No more little things to avoid. It runs smooth and fast enough to watch YouTube videos in Brave or Edge browser. I'm very satisified with this setup but it would still be great to have a better AmigaOS4 browser!

@kas1eQuote: So.. the way you choose for browser for sure correct one for limited resources, but the way how you cheat us like this is "fully new done from scratch" again stinks a bit like the story with Yam, sadly.
Not sure I understand the hostility. It's clearly stated it uses arm libraries and doesn't claim they developed them from scratch. I think most people realize they didn't create those from scratch. How is this different from any other commercial program that uses available libraries and doesn't specifically list all the used libraries? Why not just celebrate the accomplishment and be happy for the users of those systems.

@TheMagicSN Quote: Up to now the sales numbers of both titles is not that great… i especially wonder in case of GemRB- not many other great rpg‘s available on AmigaOS… Just ordered Stratagus (WarCraft II). Used to watch my son play it back in the day. I am not familiar with Baldur’s Gate (GemRB). I'll look into it.

@walkero Quote: Yeap, the project used to be open source, but because of some bad players in our community, I decided to make the repository private. If you want to learn more, have a look at Is this what is keeping the auto update from working? I believe the latest version on OS4Depot is 1.5.0. I think the only way to get 1.5.1 is to use the in-program update feature but I'm not sure that works anymore. If not, could you perhaps post 1.5.1 to OS4Depot?

Currrently YouTube mobile site mostly works in Odyssey using YT to play videos. Also, spoof as iPad 13. https://m.youtube.com

Sorry. Double post deleted. After hitting the submitt button the first time I received a warning in red lettering above my post that said it had timed out and to copy the content and try again. When I hit submit again I saw it had posted the first on and the second one.

@nbache Quote: I'm guessing he's probably using the Enhancer prefs replacement. This is on an A1222P which uses enhancer by default when setup from the restore USB stick shipped with it. That means I'm using the sound preferences. Should I expect that if I set the input slider in sound preferences, to Line In, that I should be able to hear sound if I connect it to the 3.5mm output jack of my cell phone without having to do anything else? If yes, then something isn't working and I'll report a bug. Just to note, I get no sound if I set it to mic input or mic and line in setting. I do get sound through those ports if I use the AHI Record program. I don't see the AHI preferences program in the preferences drawer so I can't try using that, unless I install it from somewhere else. Your inputs are appreciated.

How to enable Line Input and Mic Input in OS4?

As the title says, I'm trying to enable the the Line In and Mic Input on my A1222P. I took a look at Sound preferences and there are settings there but I didn't see anything that enabled them. I know the lines are working because I can use them with the AHI Record program. Unfortunately, it's a bit cumbersome to use. Is there a preference program or a simple program that will enable them?
