@kas1e,
Quote:
And none of editors we have have normal ability to do vertical selection of text areas like done in lets say "Far" on win32, or notepad++.

Vim can do this and has syntax highlight for almost every
needs and if a particular language/format doesnt exist
it can be done making a new syntax definition.

Re: VIM the editor

@kas1e,
.swp file has two use:
to prevent multiple istances of VIM to edit the same file
and to recover from a crash
.swp file on linux and win are removed on exit.

Anyway the protection bit of .swp files must be correctly set
otherwise they cannot be read in case of crash recovery
with the -r parameter invoking VIM

VIM can also create another file for persistent undo if
activated (set undofile) also this feature actually
doesnt work but the .swp problem it's more important
than the persistent undo

@kas1e,
on my setup X1000 OS 4.1 Final it the .swp files
are not removed on exit.
I don't know if its a bug or problem on my system
the file it's created with no protection bit set,
if I set the UMASK variable the .swp files are
created with protection bit set but on exit
the protection bits are cleared and the .swp file
it's not removed.

Anyway it's a great work

@BillE,
you must be shure to change the two references in the executable, because if you change only the spoof menu
it doesn't work.

This one is the user agent string for Chrome 66 on Win 10:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.6 Safari/537.36

I think that the relevant part it's Chrome/66.0.3359.6

So you must change the adapter configuration,
not the Amiga one, probabily you must access the
web interface of the adapter to change the wifi secutiry level
to wpa2
