@Maijestro Quote: Just an idea can't we link Vault to the os4depot database and add a search function? In my opinion that would be cool. I see what you mean. Vault is having links to OS4Depot, but it is not a GUI for OS4Depot. You know, there are two applications out there that already can do what you asked for. One is the OS4Depot GUI ( https://os4depot.net/?function=showfil ... /filetool/os4depotgui.lha) and the other is the UHCTools ( https://aminet.net/search?query=uhctools). Both of them are parsing the OS4Depot content. They might be better than Vault.

@everyone A few minutes ago, I released a new version of Vault 1.1.0. Read more about it at https://pms.walkero.gr/news/3 (amiga browser friendly page) or https://ko-fi.com/post/Vault-1-1-0-released-E1E01QKS88Changes included ### Added - Added the help menu with more links - Added a busy bar and a status section at the bottom of the window to show activity ### Changed - Changed the place of storing the cached files. Now they survive a reboot - When a screenshot is not defined, the default is displayed ### Fixed - Fixed the software sort order

@derfs Vault recognises new images automatically. In the new version that I am working on, there will be a cache folder inside Vault's folder. If someone would like to redownload the images, they will have to delete the cache folder.

@AmigaSociety Thank you so much for taking the time to make a video for Vault. I appreciate it.
What you said about the lists slowly loading, and a way to cache them, I have an item in my to-do list to improve this. At least, keep what is loaded not in the session, but even if you reboot your system.
The reason why the lists are filled up slowly is because for each line I need to download the icons. Although I made them small, it still needs to make that connection and download them. The network speed has some influence on it. I will try to find ways to improve it, but I believe that if I put a better caching system in place, this won't be a big issue.
Now, about opening Odyssey. Vault is using a tool that is already installed in AmigaOS 4 called urlopen. It has a prefs called URL, where the browsers and other programs are configured. When you click a link in Vault, urlopen is called, and it opens the window you see where you can select the browser you want to use. This needs to be configured to execute the right browser binary. Maybe you need to have a look there, how this is configured.
Thank you again for covering my little app.

@ddni Quote: Possible to have it show which programs are already installed? Everything is possible, but not in its scope for now. It is not a full installer/package manager tool. I do not know if in the future it will become one, but for now, it is just for people to find what is available, and useful links.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and for your ideas. May I ask if anyone run it on a Sam460 and if it works fine or not?

@328gts Congrats for your new high-score. Now I have to try harder.
Probably you uploaded an older screenshot though, which has a much lower score there, or I am unable to see it clearly.

Hello everyone. I would like to present you a new application I created called Vault, where users can discover applications to run on AmigaOS 4, links to their websites sites and guides, if there are any. I wrote more about this new utility at https://ko-fi.com/post/Vault-a-new-app ... or-AmigaOS-4-g-S6S51QC48E. You can download it from OS4Depot at https://os4depot.net/?function=showfile&file=network/misc/vault.lhaRemember, it is not a utility that will install applications automatically, but more for discovering the best of them. Not everything is there yet, but I am adding more and more almost every day, and I have a big list of apps to add as well.

@everyone The only people who know if there is actual work done on the new version of Odyssey are those who are part of the AmigaLabs team. And I, as part of this team, I can assure you that work is in progress.

@Rolar Having issues per site might be a good thing to have when the browser is more stable. Ususally, these kinds of issues are still part of the webkit version used.

Please, feel free to add any bugs in github. Just first check if anyone mentioned the same bug. It is useful to have them in a place and tackle one by one.

@gerograph I tested today the RC4 and I didn't have major issues. My feedback is mostly on UI elements and usability.
So, here are a few of comments: - In the details tab, I am not sure what the "New" button is doing. Why is it there, since I can add items with the add button? - In the details tab, I do not understand what is the free text field under the buttons. Maybe you should add a frame with a title or a label above it. It doesn't change when I change an item from the list. Is it something that provides information about that list? - In the list tab, there is no mention of the todo list that is selected. - What is the difference between todo lists and lists? If I get it right, the first is the projects and the second are groups of tasks. Maybe there should be a better way to distinguish them by name. - Based on the screenshots above, it seems you target the app to work on mobiles as well. But perhaps the same UI is not working well on desktops, going back and forward with tabs. - There is no way from the details tab to add more information in any task, if needed, nor move it to other lists - For the readme.txt, do not assume that everyone has multiviewer installed. Better use the multiview as the default tool there. - I do not understand how "On hold" list works, to be honest. These tasks that are not hold should have just a different status. Instead of having only two states of status, maybe you need more.
Please take my comments as constructive ones. This doesn't mean that you have to do any of these or follow my proposals. I hope it helps.

@n3m3 No updates as much as I know, but I have just released a new version of Kyvos, with plenty of improvements. You can read more about this new version at https://ko-fi.com/post/Kyvos-v1-8-0-released-C0C01P93IVAnd here is a list of the changes ## 1.8.0 [2025-11-27] ### Added - Added a check for error when VM files are deleted. If that fails an information requester appears - Added the Debug level field under the Hardware tab, which is related to the Serial output - Added a new tab and a text field to add custom Qemu arguments in the arguments window. - Added a check if a VM is running when Kyvos starts, and change its icon in the list - Added the "Check for updates..." and "Roadmap" options under the "Help" menu ### Fixed - Fixed an issue with mounting the third hard disk, which conflicted with the CD - Fixed the reset of the custom paths when the setup run The new version can be downloaded at https://ko-fi.com/s/6476fdadd2
