Diego is busy at work with Avcodec as we speak (ok maybe not literally) and have been for some time using only cross-compiler (if I understood him correct) before he got the loaner HW.

Regarding the unassigned bounties they are not evaluated by the team (keep in mind we're slow and lazy!) and no developers so far have shown interest. Is there something for you amongst them? ;)

I would like to get one to replace my A1 at some point. For economic reasons it won't be in the near future though so I hope it will continue to be available once it hits the market.

Last time I couldn't find my OS4 disc I gave up only to find it in a Cd cover (music) in the car a few days later. Never found out what it did in the car

Cool, I like cheap Chinese hardware, but I want it with AmigaOS4.x not Android. It probably has better specs than the upcoming Netbook, which I suspect is also just a rebranded Limebook.

It's such a shame that PPC is hardly ever used in "our" kind of consumer electronics. Consider the possibilities if we were using ARM today instead, just dreaming.

Qt for AmigaOS has come a long way and it now seems all bounty requirements are met. Still there's probably bugs to remove which I'm sure Alfkil will do that as they are reported;)

I will transfer the bounty funds to Alfkil monday morning, so now it is the LAST CHANCE to make a donation for the QT project. Could we get past the 800 mark?

I'm pretty sure a sentence like that would be illegal marketing where I'm from. At least it would need to be much more detailed (who and how much of each sale).

When Amiga Inc uses marketing like that it just smells like another scam. I wonder how Bill McEwen can sleep at night with business practises like that.

it somewhat astonishes me that when announcements are made at shows like Amiwest no one in Hyperion (that would be Ben, right?) takes the time to summarize what was said (by Hyperion) and post it on the Hyperion website.

I'm quite certain that I can't be the only person who is interested but hasn't got the (money to attend) or time to sit and look at low quality streams trying to catch every word that is said.
