The good news is that I can get E-mails but still can not send them. I have ping smtp and pop3 and is working not sure about the other part of statistics not sure what to do and how do you stop the pinging as I have to reboot.

Sorry for the delay I did try TLSv1 but still get an error `Couldn`t connect to host `smtp.virginmedia.com`.
The mail server didn`t respond within the predefined time frame and therfore timed out.

If I get e-mail an error pops up
Couldn`t connect to host `pop3.virginmedia.com` of account`fredbloggs2@virginmedia.com`.
The mail server didn`t respond within the predefined time frame and therefore timed out.

Hi yet again
My e-mail address say is fredbloggs2@virginmedia.com.
My password has just numbers and letters no dots or dashes and no stange things. I have ticked SMTP AUTH and ticked SSLv3 on both boxes and still getting errors.If I send:- error Couldn`t connect to host `smpt.virginmedia.com

The mail server is currently down or doesn`t support the SMTP protocols.

If I get:- an error Couldn`t initialise TLSv1/SSLv3 session with host `pop3.virginmedia.com`of account`fredbloggs2@virginmedia.com

Still having a problem, I have ticked SMTP AUTH but now I have 2 error messages when I send, the first one is Bad response from mail server `smtp.virginmeda.com` to command `AUTH LOGIN`.
535-5.7.1 Username and password not accepted. Learn more at (just left blanked)
The mail server couldn?t execute the command and replied with the above error message.
The second one is: - Couldn?t connect to host `smtp.virginmedia.com`.
The mail server is currently down or doesn?t support the SMTP protocols.

On my PC I?m using @ntlworld.com and have set up a second mailbox @virginmedia.com on the Amiga.
In YAM these are the setting I have used
First Steps Settings:-
Real name: - ant
E-mail address: - myemail@virginmeda.com
Pop3 server: - pop3.virginmedia.com
Password: - ***********

TCP/IP Settings:-
Server/Port: - smtp.virginmedia.com 465
Domain: - virginmedia.com
Ticked SSLv3
Left SMTP AUTH unticked

Account name: - ant
Server/Port: - pop3.virginmedia.com 995
User name: - ant
Password *********
Ticked Active
Unticked Log in using APOP
Ticked Delete mail on server
Ticked SSLv3

UPDATE
I have made sure it is SMTP but I`m still getting an error message:- Connection with server `smtp.virginmedia.com` interupted while trying to send command `QUIT`
This may be due to a connection dropped by the server.
I do get an error first but it goes quick

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) 465 was (25 on YAM)
Incoming Mail (POP3) 995 was (110 on YAM)
Now I have an error which reads: - POP3.virginmedia.com` replied with an error message during the welcome procedure and the connection was terminated: On in the TCP/IP settings I have left the server allows 8bit characters left unticked. Use SMTP AUTH left unticked. Use secure connection ticked for No. With TLSv1 left unticked. With SSLv3 left unticked On the receive mail Active ticked. Log in using APOP left unticked. Delete mail on server ticked. Use secure connection ticked No. With TLSv1 left unticked. With SSLv3 left unticked. Am 1 going wrong somewhere in the YAM configure settings. If I tick the boxes with SSLv3 and tick Active and use SMPT AUTH unticked, when Send I get an error message :- Connection with server `smtp.virginmedia.com` was interrupted while sending a command `QUIT`. I`m trying to set an E-Mail address on the Amiga which is Sam-Flex 440ep with OS4.1 Upgrade 2. I?m using YAM but I?m having trouble setting it up. If I use the same E-Mail address that is on my PC (ntlworld.com) on the Amiga I can send and receive E-Mails. But if I change the E-Mail address on the Amiga to virginmedia.com (which is my secondary E-Mail) I?m getting an error: - Couldn`t connect t`pop3.virginmedia.com`. The mail server didn?t respond within the predefined time frame and therefore timed out. In YAM if I tick the box SSLv3 then I get this error: - Bad response from mail server`pop3.viginmedia.com`to command `PASS. -ERR (AUTH) Username and password not accepted. The mail server couldn`t execute the command and replied with the above error message. (But if I use ntlworld.com I do not have to tick the box SSLv3)

When setting an E-Mail on my Amiga. I?m using YAM to set my E-mail address if I set my primary E-Mail address (@ntlworld.com) everything works fine which I can send E-Mails and receive them, but if I set another mailbox up on the Amiga still using YAM which is @virginmedia.com than I?m getting an error timed out.
Can this be done or do I have to have my primary E-mail on the Amiga which is the same as on my PC. What I?m trying to do is have two separate E-Mails one for the PC and the Amiga.

I have downloaded LimpidClock but when I done the automatic installation all I get is the grim reaper and I have tried manually install but still getting the grim reaper what I doing wrong?

Ihave a AmigaOS 4.1 Sam440ep flex system and trying to set Yam to send e-mails but have no joy all I keep getting is an error-: Could`nt connect to pop.ntworld.com The main server did`nt respond with the prefined time frame and therefore timed out.I can read e-mails Also itcame with DVPlayer and can not seem to geting it working by useing a AVI file any ideas where Iam giong wrong.

My Amiga has gone all wrong, I installed Photogenics which now I seem to get a lot of errors, When I go into the Systems draw and click on find I get a message unable to open your tool FIND` and this happens on all the icons in the systems draw, but shell works, and in tools draw I get a message can not open resource. library" , version 44. unable to run "IconEdit. seem to get the same message on whatever I try to open, and on some nothing happens. Can not get on the Internet (using EasyNet) than on to AWeb-II and get a message Can`t open gadgets\button.gadget but it is in the Prefs draw. I copyed the System draw which is on my workbench screen but I can not delete it. It seems to have gone all wrong since I have installed Photogenics.

I have a Amiga 1200 2MB is there any way I could have more graphics Memory as I seem to keep getting low or am I right saying you can have just 2MB of graphics memory.

Can anybody help I have trouble with my graphics memory on my Amiga 1200. When I play some games I keep getting error message saying not enough graphics memory. When I boot up on the top left hand side it shows I have 1,121,080 graphics memory and 32,103, 644 other memory and in my WBstartup draw (all files) I have Freewheel (mouse), ASyncWB, DefIcons, ClickNot, RAWB Info. RFPatch and Bench Trash.
In ScreenMode I`m using HIGHGFX:Super-High Res Laced. Is the Indivision AGA using to much of the graphics memory or is it something else and how can I get more graphics memory? I`m not using any WorkBench Backdrops but using NewIcons
