Nice idea. I would be pleased to purchase one.
Could you also add a section to explain how to use gcc with other IDE program like Cubic IDE / GoldEd Studio or Codebench ? the fact is that I prefer to use tool bars/ menu instead of typing inline commands.

Does anyone know if they already have been asked if they want to make new Amiga ?
The case looks very nice !

@tommysammy Maybe this could help you. Made some minutes ago. Showing is better than words : Don't care about the "white" text and shadow. I made this with PersonaPaint and the mask wasn't set. Nic

@tommysammy
Normally in the prefs drawer you should have "Picasso96Mode". Click on it and a window will appear were you can create all kind of screen modes.
If you've activated the context menu, you can reach "Picasso96Mode" by clicking RMB and go on "Preference".

Hallo everyone, Well some tipps for having WarpSnes and AmiNes working onto AOS4.1.1. 1st : in your Picasso96Mode create (chosing in the menu your graphic board) 3 screen resolutions : 320x240x8, 16 and 32 bit (or if you prefer : chunky 256, HiColor and TrueAlpha) 2nd : In the AmigaInput (included native os411 version) you have to assign the mouse or the joypad to the lowlevel.library Port 0 - mouse. Save the config file and launch AmiNes or WarpSnes. In order to avoid any compatibility problem give the value of 1000000 to the stack (icon tool). Now launch your favourite emulator and check in the controller setup. Normaly you can now chose the joypad. In the video setting chose "fullscreen best mode" and it will chose automatically the 320x240 screen mode. So you'll be able to play like if you were in front of your old TV. As information I have an USB logitech Precision Pad. I hope this could help someone. Nic

@desler
This is a "copy/paste" of a previous Cinnamon thread :
@desler
Could you change the way of printing ? I mean when I want to print with the Workbench settings or Turboprint, for example, firts the file is converted in PS format and my Ghostscript (update 4.1.1) stopped because of an error like "can't find sPrint... GS closed with a Forbid..." something like that, so maybe could you also improve this feature ? Thanks.
What I like also is the progress bar .
Thanks for your job!

Same here and the worth is that we don't know if after clicking "ignore DSI errors" it really looks for updates.
Maybe, the solution is that until no new version of AmiUpdate is available we should "Roll back" on a previous version and manage the "ignore update" if it is included.

@Joeled
Or you can find also on Aminet.net : DataM_II. It's a spreadsheet MUI based and import also XLS files. Shame that nobody want to try to get the source code and port it.
Basically DataM_II is a demo but on Aminet you also have the public key available.
It is buggy : at the begining when you want to load an existing file it calls Grim Reaper. I thought first that it is wasn't usable, but after maybe 2 min it opens the file and could go on with it :)

One question:
Is there any one who has Digita DataStore somewhere ?
I remember, when the A1200 was launched there was a bundle pack with all Digita softwares.
At home I have Digita Organiser (which works fine) and Digita WordWorth. I would like to know if someone is ready to sell me Digita Datastore which i'm looking for a long time.
Please PM me. Thanks.

@iano
Here I can help you : the problem isn't Wordworth itself but the version of "Intaller". To work find copy your CD in RAM (or any other places) in order to replace the "Installer" : either you can copy the Workbench version in the drawer of WordWorth or in the Icon Tool, always of WW, select the path where you have the recent "Intaller" (could be in /utilities, /system or in C:).
And simply click the installer tool :) By the way, don't forget the update 7.01 of WordWorth. Well theorically the version 7.00 should work since AOS4.x.
Your welcome.

Here can print with the HP 970 USB and Turboprint without any problem. But the USB Scanner depend a lot on model. I have a Canon lide 20 which only connect with the USB cable and the light switch on but nothing happens.

Imho all of this just up to you :) But imho with supoprting of Docs, CW will be more usable for all of us, and for new blood. But even if you will not add that, CW is already not bad :)
I agree too. It's up to you, and I think if you won't do it now, you surely will add in your "to-do cart" . Nic

@desler & other I don't know if a docx format is a good idea. Many people don't have the latest MS Word installed because of price. An ODF has 2 advantages : it's not an MS file ( ) and second Abiword (Amicygnix) could load ODF file format, even if the layout appears a little bit different). Nic

@JosDuchIt I think that he will improve that feature. Anyway, if you load with wordworth a saved file in rtf from cinnamon, it works but layout a little bit different. I think we should have a little patience. I remember that with version 0.62 I couldn't even load any rtf file saved by Cinnamon. A tipp : if you want to have the same layout in WordWorth and Cinnamon, try to juggling with margins settings, size of font, etc. But have you noticed that at least the used font is same in both programs ? @desler Could you change the way of printing ? I mean when I want to print with the Workbench settings or Turboprint, for example, firts the file is converted in PS format and my Ghostscript (update 4.1.1) stopped because of an error like "can't find sPrint... I've posted on Amigaworld.net :
Thanks. As soon as I will be home i'm gonna to download it.
By the way, have you improved the import/export of the rich text format file format ? Is it now compatible with other programs like Wordworth, Abiword, Finalwriter, etc ?
Thanks again. Gonna make a donation (done) !

Cubic IDE and Basic

Hallo everyone,
One question : well, i'm possessing CubicIDE which I mostly used (earlier I had Sudio) for creating simple HTML pages but now that i'm interesting in learning programming and I would like to know if the basic section of Cubic is a full usable program or if it is limited to the functions described in the guide file.
Asking that because I have very old books, magazines and old issues (all of them in German) in which a big amount of programs/games are described with source codes and used programming language like Aztec, AmigaBasic, Modula-2, C, C++ and others. Some of them have been made with Amiga Basic and I would like to begin with those instead of Amiblitz3 in order to understand the Basic functions and maybe compare within Amiblitz3.
Thanks.

Hallo everyone for people who are looking for the scalable icons in our system, read this :
Well there is no automatic scaling icon but in order to do that open :
"settings/Workbench" and there you will see a tab with "icon". Select it and on the bottom you have 2 resizing gadget : first for the workbench icon and the second for the directories icons.
Hoping it will help someone.
