@spotUP

The Protracker-Port in OS4Depot is from you?

Is there something like a "polling loop"?
I´m askingbecause CPU is always very high near 100% busy state.

A real fullscreen-function would be very cool (e.g. stretch to fullscreen)

I hope the Envy24HT-Driver will be updated to this level. Would be great for SAM460ex-Users.

Atari YM-Plugin works.

SID-Plugin crashes with a GR but can be killed.

TFMX_Plugin doesn´t recognise Tunes even with .mdat oder .tfx-file-extension.

2D Hardware Accelerated Compositing RadeonHD

Will 2D Hardware Accelerated Compositing with RadeonHD-Cards speed up E-UAE Video-Output?

I´m asking, because it seems that the Videodisplay-Update looks sluggish, specially when games scrolling horizontally.

I´m experimenting a little bit by creating new Screenmodes with Picasso96, it have improved displayspeed but its not perfect.

RadeonHD-Card should be fast enough to render it or is the problem the emulation of the chipset?

Now it works here, but only in Diropus not on the Workbench, showing nothing (icons, with or without option "show all files by name" and hidden ones).

Update: I got it working with a different ati card 5570 but not the HD 6570 :( The 6570 just goes into a black screen.

I did the install by this way:

1. Plug the card in.
2. Change in Uboot to external Graphic-Card (PCIe)
3. Install AmigaOS4.1 from the scratch and copy the newest RadeonHD-Driver to it.

Then it works:

Passive cooled = no Fan(s) = no noise, compreso?

I suggest the Sapphire Radeon HD6570 Ultimate. It have 1 GB Videomem, 256 MB are actually usable by Workbench but thats more than enough even in HD-Resolutions. Its completely passive cooled and have a good price/perfomance-Ratio.

HDMI-Out also works fine!

At least we need a native Skype Text+File-Transfer-Client for AmigaOS to replace the non functional SabreMSN to stay in touch with out contacts.

Execute one AREXX-Command from CLI/AMIGADOS-Script

I build in AmiUpdate-Support to Flipclock 53.2. In the Autoinstall-Script i need to execute one AREXX-Command to close a running Flipclock in order to Copy the new Executable to APPDIR and then restart the new version.

Sending FLIPCLOCK QUIT with ALLKEYS-REXX Sender is working (Flipclock quits), but not from my script or CLI.

Is it really required to make an extra .rexx-file with that FLIPCLOCK QUIT-Command and then call it from the autoinstall-script?

How much space is it for hd`s? And any room for the big gfx cards?

You can plug two HDDs to one white HDD-Frame: one in 3,5" size and one in 2,5" size. And there are two HDD-Frames which means 2 x 3,5" HDD and 2 x 2,5" HDD.

You can see on Screenshot Nr. 8 that you have about ~10 cm Space behind the RadeonHD 6570 Ultimate for future GFX-Card-Updates, for all who need a beast of a GFX-Card

Overall its a very polished Case from Norwegian Design. The first Fan on the front left side is blowing the air into the case. The airstream went from CPU, RAM to Radeon-Card and then to HDD-Slots to the second Fan which pulls the warm air out of the box.

Another handy feature is a three-stage-switch at the right-hand-side of the Case, you can regulate the FAN in these steps: 5V, 7V and 12V. You can plug 3 Fans to this controller and with 5V and 7V its very silent.

An important note to all Sam460ex-Users who are using a siL3114-PCI-Card and wondering why the onboard-connector for the HDD-LED doesn´t show anything. You must use Pinheader JP4 on the sIL3114-Card for the HDD-LED. The Plus (+)-Connector Side have to be where the Resistor points to.

Its a Fractal-Design Node 605-Desktop Case. There are a SATA-DVD-Burner (slimline) and also a Card-Reader behind that door at the bottom of the front. Its equipped with a RadeonHD 6570 Ultimate PCI-E 1GB and a 750GB 3,5" Seagate Barracuda HDD.
