I just switched my XE into a new case with front panel audio connectors and I'd like to make the connectors functional if at all possible (my A1 has working on board AC97).
The new case has one female AC97 10 pin connector, while the A1 motherboard has several separated connectors (SPDIF, Headphone Out, Aux Out, CD in).
My understanding is that the A1 is AC97 compatible, so I'm thinking that I just need to connect the right pins on the motherboard to the right pins on the AC97 connector.
Unfortunately, the A1 manual isn't specific about the various pinouts (or even which connector is which).
Finished the icons, but never got to my A1 to put them together -- so here they are as DualPNG and as individual png images.
Ssolie has created a great utility for converting DualPNG to OS4 format (no png plugin required) -- OR you can build the icons yourself if you know how.
Icon scaling would be a nice feature to have in OS4 -- it would allow people to use ANY goofy icon they like without sacrificing visual integrity (AmiDock in particular would benefit).
I'm told that the functionality is already built into the OS4 icon.library -- it just isn't being utilized.
The 'netinterface' icons all read as good here, but I'm on OS3 at the moment -- OS4 is way more fussy in that regard. I built the install archive on OS4 for just that reason. I'll definitely look at it when I get a chance.
That particular icon is in a couple of different places in the archive -- maybe try replacing the broken icon with a known good one and installing again (AFTER uninstalling, or you'll lose your backup of Mason's icons).
