Anyway. Just click the link below for clarification. There seems to still be some lingering confusion about what Amigans is and has always been about even though the statement of intent hasn't changed since at least 2007.

Statement of Intent

After getting feedback from our users and after a discussion in the Amigans staff team we have decided that we will no longer allow news items that do not follow the Statement Of Intent on the front page.

If you want to post off topic news or information then you are welcome to use the Free for All forum (And as always, it is still subject to moderator discretion on a case by case basis as specified in the Terms Of Service )

If you want posts from the Free For All forum to be displayed on the front page then log in and use the [Forum Settings] link at the bottom right of the Recent Replied Topics block.

By uploading a new file (replace file) with the new passphrase, wait for an email then reply to it.

No, I discontinued it due to lack of interest for such a service in the community.

I've added a new forum "Classifieds" for selling and buying amiga stuff.

It's not displayed by default on the home page but you can add it via the [forum settings] in the bottom of the recently replied topics block.

You can also go directly to the "Free for all", "Too Hot To Handle" and "Classifieds" forum using the links that you also can find at the bottom of the block.

The server provider for OS4Depot has announced that they will perform some network maintenance on the 6th of September.

So expect some outage at that date.

Moved this to the Amiga general forum so that it isn't hidden by default.

Or perhaps there are ways to target qemu in a more direct way so that less specific hardware needs to be emulated (like peg2, audio hardware or specific gfx cards).

An OS4 qemu native edition if you will.

If you haven't used Discord before it's a bit like IRC but with a lot of modern features like notifications, chat history, emojis, graphical content, voice chat and video streaming.

Plus it's convenient to use it on your phone.

If any talented artist wants to create a server icon (512*512) for it then that would be great!

Official clients are available for Android, iOS, Linux, MacOS, Windows and modern web browsers.

You might get it to work on AmigaOS using pidgin under AmiCygnix. If anyone has gotten this to work on the latest work by cygnusEd then let us know.

General tip:
Turn off notifications by setting "Server notification settings" to either "Only @mentions" or "Nothing".
