I have no themes in use... I checked that my general MUI settings are dated 2014, so I have probably never touched them! Only the individual settings for YAM, Odyssey etc. were fresh, but I do not have any MUI settings for A-FTP_Server.

That leaves then only the MUI settings... The fact that v. 1.9 A-FTP_Server IS started but the user interface cannot be loaded by any means suggests to that direction.

It has never been there! I have always started it from it's icon, and only when needed.

I never use AppDir: for running programs, but I have doublechecked the directory path in Env-Archive is correct.

I will do a final test by booting from a 'zero disk' (unchanged OS 4.1 installation) and A-FTP_Server installed on ram disk, but I doubt that will solve the issue...

I still tested it with both versions of A-FTP_Server, no change. Tried also to copy it on ram:, so that it is for sure on the path.

I don't have any version Hollywood, isn't that a commercial package...? At least the earlier v. 3.17 A-FTP_Server worked without it!

There is no such file/dir on my system disk.

I have always run A-FTP_Server in the graphical mode, not the 'StartHidden' version. I was not able to remove it from Exhange, have to test Exchanger...

Thanks for your answer! I realized that A-FTP_server 1.9 is indeed loaded, as I can see it via Exchange. But I cannot get the interface to open, even from Exchange...

You said "...dependencies as listed in the requirements section of the A-FTP_Server documentation..." But there was only a short readme file included in the package, and there was no mention of dependencies in it. Where can the proper documentation be found, if there is such...?

A-FTP_Server (v. 1.7) does not start anymore in my system... It gives just this error mesage:

But MUIRoyale.hwp is still in it's place in the same drawer as the program itself, have not touched them... I tested also a newer version of A-FTP_Server (1.9) from OS4-Depot, but it does not start, either.

Next I tried to boot from an old backup-partition, to check whether OS 4.1 U2 or Enhancer 2.0 would have mixed something, but that did not help. Also tried to remove the old prefs file, no effect.

Any idea what might be wrong...?

How can you access that menu, and what can you do/choose there?

I'am using OS 3.5.Is it possible to to change that kHz setting 'blindly' with it, without having to get a special monitor?

I'm testing a A3630 cpu board in a A4000T. Should the A3630 show bootmenus, just like Cyberstorm boards do, if I keep the both mouse buttons pressed? If I try that, I do get anything on the screen, booting just halts...

If there are menus, are they using 15KHz modes (which my monitor cannot show)? Isn't there an option to get them in 30 kHz, like with Cyberstorm?

That is somewhat unexact... There is also the -ss parameter in mplayer with which you can give the starting point (do not know how to get it to work with aiostreams, which uses the same parameter fo other purpose!), but if you cannot see at which point you are after playing the video further, it is difficult to continue from that point later.

I have tried the demo version of Emotion, but it was extremely unstable and could not load many of the mp4 videos/streams I tested (with mplayer and vlc there was no problems). Has these bugs been fixed in the commercial version?

And how well does it work with an ordinary HD 5450? As I need to use Linux daily (and also MorphOS occasionally), e.g. the Radeon RX models are out of question!

Thank you for your answer! I tested to set the Verbose=True and copy the metalink to MPlayer-gui, but there is a problem... The string from a Youtube video seems to be 'too long', as the end part of it is deleted! Is this a limitation of MPlayer-gui, or the clipboard of AmigaOS...?

The reason for using MPlayer-gui is that I would like to 'navigate' freely in the video and jump into a certain point, if needed. This seems not to be possible with the plain mplayer (I'm using the mick-jt branch).

Is there a way to use mplayer-gui with aiostreams scripts? I cannot get the wanted video loaded to mplayer-gui, only the program is opened... How should it be formulated in the prefs file?

I have to confess I'm surpriced if the whole batch of 500 mobos is already liquidated, considering the price... I would have guessed only 50-70% of them are already sold.

A-Eon had also plans for a X5000+, with a new sound card etc... What happens now, if they do not have anymore Cyrus boards for it...?

A request to AmigaKit and A-Eon... Could you please explain us, as clearly as possible, how the Brexit exactly effects on purhases made from countries inside EU, and especially on different hardware products from A-Eon (Cyrus+, A1222, AmigaMouse etc...)?

If I have understood right, the origin of the product has now effect on how it is treated in customs of EU countries.

A couple of specific questions:

1) How should the AmigaKit www-page be opened so that it would show the prices correctly in EURs? If I open first https://amigakit.amiga.store/?currency=EUR, and then choose any product, the price is '0', until I choose again 'EUR' from the top of the page. If I then select another product, the price is again '0'. How can I keep the page using 'EUR' constantly?

2) So far some A-Eon dealers, like Alinea in Germany, has been forbidden to sell Cyrus+/X5000 outside their own country. Now, when AmigaKit is outside EU (and thus more expansive place for many EU citizens) and Alinea inside it, has this unnecessary limitation finally been removed? If not, WHY?

Important note to all: this question is addressed to AmigaKit/A-Eon, not to anyone else. So please do not fill this thread with the usual fruitless specutations etc... Thank you .

Is your Cyrus board a beta revision (2.1)? Have you ever changed the CPU fan or is it still the original one? If I remember right there was some improvement concerning the CPU fan in the later 2.2 revision.

Is the ambient temperature in your area very high...? If you have a new CPU fan at hands, and some properly cooled place nearby, it might be good idea to test whether the problem is anyhow dependent on temperature. If the issue is inside the P5020 as it seems to be, even a small temperature change may have effect on it.

A repair center (preferably inside EU, as AmigaKit/Varisys will soon be outside) would be a good idea!
