Cool. Is it faster than the newer version? Now, is this lib in the TW directory or in SOBJS:?

Timberowlf RC3 is Usable again! And FASTER than EVER!

If TW RC3 is this fast on my peg2 without Altivec enabled in the new cairo lib it must really be nice with Altivec.

Would it be faster and/or as stable if I used the older Altivec instructions enabled cairo lib?



On the bad side bookmarks arent working which is sort of annoying :) Its werid because on RC1 they worked fine for me.

Hey guys

I tried a Logitech Dual Shock usb controller and it seems to have problems. Amiinput can see it I can click the fire button, and move the digital pad but doesnt work with games..??

I also purchased this:

Atari to USB retro adaptor

Amigainput and USB inspector see it but the 2 joysticks I tried dont work.
Amigainput calibration sees the fire button but the stick only works in one direction

Its a shame because I cant play any os4 games with joypad/joystick. Any ideas?

Grr.. I was wrong downloading does not work for me either. I must have been mistaken.. even right click doesnt do anything..

Man that minimizing bug is killing me!

I find the scrolling totally acceptable, dont know why its not usable on sam systems??

And I do agree that the Alpha engine seemed faster but there is much more implemented know. With HW acceleration it would rock!

Also, very imporant is to fix the bug that doesnt let you disable add ons.. anyone know how to delete one manually?

Very usable imho on my peg2 g4 @1ghz.. slow relative to other boxes I have here but not bad at all. Actually booked a hotel on expedia and messed around on alot of heavy gfx sites.. Ebay works nicely too.. nfl.com was slow but worked.. Youtube comes up but couldnt play vid..

One thing that is bugging me is that the Extension/Add On panel has a bug so I cant disable the addons I installed??

Also, minimizing window crashed every time :(

btw why is there no sound support? Is it because of some mozilla specific code or amiga os?

Also for hardware acceleration what is needed? What about using the Compositing 2d api that Hans talks about for a rendering engine?

FYI "YOMGUI" from Morphzone, a Morphos dev who did the ports of Blender3d and Python for Morphos has the Video editing aspects of Blender 3d working in a beta state! I think he even had it working with morphos Firewire driver for Capture!!!

Being a former "amiga" dealer I can tell you this: Vendors dont want to Overstock high priced boards like this. They would rather understock and order more.. Amikit does this alot with Individual products.

Dont forget these are small companies and dont want to tie up thousands of euro in stock in a small market.


Man, what happened to the old Relec one case? That thing was super modern looking? With the swiss franc out of control no north american can get one though!

I've been waiting for things to mature, and it looks like they have and have been dying to run os4 on my peg2 for some years now. I would really appreciate an official word on this from Hyperion please..
