Hello everyone. Just to inform that some gnu utility (autoconf/automake/sed) have been ported/updated by Henning Nielsen Lund. This utilities are really usefull for porting software.
Henning doesn't had an amiga for long time.
We want To thanks Cloanto and MB for providing a free copy of Amiga forever 2017 to Henning that he used for The Port.

Yes, please.

Would be nice to have a native backend for Amiga.

Other backend are included in cairo source, like BeOS backend. AmigaOS is not included. Perhaps Hyperion could release this part of the source?

I compiled successfully (thanks to you info) libcairo in the past, but this lack of amiga-cairo surface. If you can provide the amiga surface code maybe some kind of hardware acceleration can be implemented.

I will send you the new executables as soon as i get it compiled.

I'm porting Vice 3.1 to Amiga OS4. The version you see online on the archive doesn't work.

I ported the version 3.0 (both native Amiga OS4 graphics and SDL2) already and it works, but it's is somehow slow.

Found few bugs (as well as some AmigaOS deprecated functions) and reported to the Vice team.

At the moment i'm making progress with version 3.1. Hope to find more time to dedicate to the port.

i need to create a cross compiling setup on my pc.

I need to install a linux in a Virtual Machine and setup all the necessary to compile under linux for AmigaOS 4.

I need updated tools that prevent me to compile or port software to Amiga. One of this is an updated autogen.

Any hint?
