Whilst things are slow on the Amiga side I have been playing with Linux again.

Here is a screenshot of Debian Testing (Lenny) using Geri's 2.6.16.49 kernel.

In this shot I am running Opera 9.23 and Amarok 1.4.7. The other programs are "widgets"

The system is completely stable. For those interested it is KDE 3.5.8.

This is pretty impressive.

How hard is it to set up something like that? (I assume that there's no installer ISO of that quality for the A1).

How is the speed compared to x86 versions of the same distro?
