Anyone knows when this will be ready?
I'm thinking of getting me a cheap terratec pci soundcard in the meantime. If not the driver is just around the corner that is. .....

It's being worked on. I know the guy that's doing it (in fact, he has my 460 for development support at the moment).

Can't say how far he's got or how long it will take, dunno.

cheers

If it works in an A1-XE or Sam440, then it should work in a Sam460. I'm pretty sure that we have a driver that handles audigy cards. However, you might want double-check if there are certain models that don't work. IIRC, there were issues in the past where sound-cards with the same name actually contained different chips.

DaveAE would be the one with a definite answer, but personally I doubt the Audigy SE is supported. From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sound_Blaster_Audigy:

"The Audigy SE and Audigy Value are stripped down models, with a less expensive CA-0106 audio-controller in place of the EMU10k2."

Best regards,

Niels

I don't have a link to a card but, while you're waiting, you might want to have a look at the docs of the available drivers.
