Installing Mixer.

Sorry I know this is a dumb question, but there is a new mixer in the contrib/AHI drawer on the OS4Final CD.

I have done a search on AW, and used 'find' on my A1, but I can't for the life of me remember where it goes.

The read me say's it is now a commodity so do I put it in utilities/comodities?
Or, do I put it in WBStartup?

Very sorry for the dumb questions.

I've seen people put it in their startup but I just dropped it in utilities and use it as needed.

In WBStartup. If you put it in Utilities/Commodities it will not be run on startup and will therefore not do anything unless you run it manually.

Does the A1 have more than a stereo input as standard?

Ooops! Sorry! Forget I asked that. I just got done hooking up two mics and a mixing console to my Mac 9600 and then ask a silly question like that.

I use ProTools Free to do my recording, so I'm sure that by mixing, you must mean mixing of various audio files as tracks on the hard drive.

What are Mixer's Capabilities, by the way?

Never get setleves working from user startup. It works instead puttig it in WBStartup. Imho these things should be included into OS4 by default.
