I don't understand your question.

Do you want to change the "#?" in "Pattern:" or do you want the predefined pattern completely gone?

People are dying.

Assuming that you are referring to the command line program RequestFile, then you should be able to set a pattern using the PATTERN option.

RequestFile <other options> PATTERN "#?"

Setting a pattern with the PATTERN option will automatically enable the pattern gadget in the requester as well.

thanks , i seem to have used acceptpattern instead which does not show the pattern gadget. Not proud of that question
