Cover art in aTunes
Quite a regular

I have downloaded the latest aTunes, copied the LibTag libraries to sobjs:
and I am able to modify the cover artwork on the tags editor window, but I cannot get it to display on the main window. Modify only works when I have edited one of the text tags, not when I have just changed the artwork.
If I edit a text tag and modify the artwork, then apply appears to save the updated tags, but if I then close the program, re-launch it the updated artwork is not there.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Is there another tag editor that can display artwork, so I can check if the artwork is saved but not displayed?

Thanks for any help.

Hi,
I'm the author of aTunes.

1) no need to copy anything to sobjs: it should work out of the box

2) the covertart and the tags are written inside the music files directly.

-your music files are not read-only ?
-the tageditor works for MP3/M4A/FLAC but the covertart changer are only supported on MP3 and M4A.

What are the file type that you try to change ?

Edit : and of course, you click on apply after to have changed the picture ?

Hi

The music files are mp3, and are read, write, and delete.

The apply button only changes after changing a text tag, not the coverart/

Ah, i remember, did you clicked the little arrow beside the cover picture in the tag editor to confirm the picture ?

Edit : and after, click on apply to save the changes

Yes, that worked!!

I deleted the libtag files I had copied to sobjs:
Re-booted, and aTunes works out of the box.
Sorry about that.

And after clicking the arrow beside the coverart, it is saved OK.

Just a query, should I need to confirm on all tags (arrows) because that wasn't needed when I changed a text tag?

Great that it was not a bug report

For the arrow, i'm not in front of my Amiga, but yes, i think to remember that each arrow updates each element in the upper list.
Therefore, yes, you have to click on a arrow when you think that your changed tag content is OK.
