SimpleMail taking long time reading all emails at startup?

I know I started a thread on this topic a while back and had a fix for this but can't seem to find it now? anyhow about 2 days ago the problem of Simple Mail scanning all of my past emails before starting up started happening again.
With a few thousand files it was ok but now with some 40k plus old emails its taking a while to load

I already answered this question a while back indeed.

This happens because SimpleMail crashed. And since it hase crashed, the "Deleted folder" index is thrashed.

You have to click on it (the "Deleted folder") in SimpleMail to force its reindexation and all will be ok then.
